Author has written 5 stories for Action, Supernatural, and Fantasy.

So... my name happens to be Gary. I came to Sydney back in 1996, and the only discernible difference between Sydney and where I came from was the lack of an all-pervasive film of smog, and about ten billion less people.

I was born on October 16, back in 1987, apparently in the early morning, though I had believed it was the afternoon since I could remember until a few months ago... which admittedly is pretty embarrassing. ^_^()

I’m one of those people who can tolerate almost anything and anyone. Slugs and snails freak me out- along with anything that crawls like that. I despise summer, and its high temperatures and the bright sun (which hurts my eyes O_ ), and really like rain (especially that earthy smell that follows a rainstorm). I can be very sentimental when I want to be, and I can (most of the time) step back from an argument, and weigh up both side of an argument. Yeah, being Libra’s very fun ^_^ but it has its downsides.

Superstition and religion play a fairly chunky role in my life. Well... I wouldn’t say I’m religious in the strict sense that one prays to the Gods and everything, but I let them be and they let me be (most of the time). Some of my beliefs tend to leak across into my fics as well. :P

Weird- this word is just about me in a nutshell.

Reclusive- yeah, I’m that, too.

Loud and talks too much- when the mood comes upon me.

Horribly shy- er... -scratches head in embarrassment- yeah, this one too...

Okay, this is just a random list of “favourites”:

Hobbies- reading, writing, drawing, watching anime and reading manga. I also play Warhammer (both Fantasy and 40,000), and indulge in a little Yu-Gi-Oh on the side as well. Hmm... don’t get out much do I?

Authors- Terry Pratchett and Terry Goodkind are the best. Mary Renault and Juliet Marillier are two of my favourite non-fantasy authors. Brian Jacques is also really good. ^_^

Books- Monsoon and Warlock by Wilbur Smith

Temple of the Winds and Faith of the Fallen by Terry Goodkind

Thief of Time and Guards! Guards!by Terry Pratchett

Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov

The Long Patrol by Brian Jacques

The Narnia series by C. S. Lewis

TV show- TV? What’s TV? Ohhhh... that boxy thing everyone seems to like so much. I rarely watch TV now, but any show that involves cooking I usually watch. Iron Chef is pretty good. XD

Movies- The Terminal was pretty good, The Anchorman was plain whacked (but it’s hilarious) and End of Evangelion. Troy was pretty funny (cos half the important people that died in it weren’t supposed to die at all ^_^), and Final Fantasy: Advent Children is all style and barely any storyline (but boy does it look cool O_O).

Anime- Neon Genesis: Evangelion definitely at the top of the list. Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is an instant classic. Inuyasha and Gundam are quite funky. And Wind: A Breath of Love wasn’t too bad, either (but it was a fairly generic storyline).

Music- anything, really, I’ve listened to almost everything from ACDC and Cold Play to Tchaikovsky and anime music. I ain’t fussy.

Sport- badminton, but if fencing didn’t have so many technicalities involved, I’d have picked that. On the condition that I get to use a proper sword instead of a foil or sabre.

Favourite quotes-

“It’s a gift to the world not to have babies.” -Jenny Holzer

“Noooo! My power-ups!” -Samus Aran, Decline of Videogaming 3

“There are as many truths as there are people. it all depends on one’s perspective. The truth can be changed simply by the way you accept it, and that is how fragile truth is for a human being.” -Anonymous

“Did anyone bring anything else besides sniper kit?” “I’ve got a sniper rifle.” - from nuklearpower.com

“How are we going to take out that tank?” “Let’s snipe it.” -same place as the last one

“How can you help those that won’t help themselves? His fear binds him in chains of his own making.” Grimspyre, Daemonifuge

“If history is to change, let it change! If the world is to be destroyed, so be it! If my fate is to be destroyed... I must simply laugh!!” -The Prophet/Janus/Magus, Chrono Trigger

“I am a human, not a machine.” -Noah, Yu-Gi-Oh! Episode 121: Escape!

“My story is just beginning” -Yugi Mutou, Volume 38 of Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga) lol

If you’ve got questions, death threats, flames (not literally), just email me, review one of my stories, or add me to your contacts list. I also have an msn space, which you can also visit if you feel like it (but I haven’t exactly spent much time on it).

Remember, you review my stuff, and I’ll review yours! ^_~

P.S. I refuse to do lemons! Lime maybe but lemon’s just stepping over the line.

So what am I working on right now?

Forces of Light and Darkness- my first fic, and one which provided the basic framework for the story I’m working on right now. The basic storyline is about this world, and a series of events which let loose terrible forces bent on destroying every human in it, cleansing it and making way for another species to evolve and eventually dominate this world. And amongst all this one person must fight. Pretty darkish ending, but it’s a bit half-baked. Better make that a quarter-baked.

Of Blood and Magic- this is a fic about a vampire and a Daemon. To be honest I haven’t done much with this thing since I began it nor developed a storyline, but rest assured I will work on it! Some time.

Balance of Worlds Book 1: Into the Darkness- yeah, this is the one I’m working on, and after about five different titles, I’ve finally settled upon one which I felt was at least a bit suitable. :P It’s a story set in this world of ours, inhabited by not only humans but also those who look so human as to make not much of a difference. Daemons, vampires, and perhaps even a few other denizens will make their appearances. This storyline will eventually lead onto the other ones which I plan to follow this (which I need to finish first before I even think about starting the others).

What’s Coming?

Well, not much apart from the other Balance of Worlds books, so far named Book 2: Shattered Dreams, Book 3: Illusions of Power, Book 4: Untouchable Destiny and Book 5: Cruel Fate. I’ve got the general storyline set out and everything, I just need to write it now. :D

Apart from what I’m working on now as such, I might consider putting in a few short stories. I’ve also seen a few Warhammer fics on this site, so I might put some up myself (when I get the time), as Warhammer is quite a cool game, if a tad on the expensive side. O_

When I get a new computer, I’ll also post up some fanfics which have been mouldering on my computer for the past months onto fanfiction.net, and that’s about all I have in mind right now. We’ll see what the future brings, shall we? ^_~
