Author has written 17 stories for Horror, Life, Friendship, General, and Family.

You have stumbled into a world where darkness has long since claimed the land and there is no escape once the gates have swung shut behind you. Between the drifting fog a cresent moon casts silver shadows around you, showing you the weed choked path leading upto the door of a seemingly foreboding castle. Howls echo in the near distance, carried on the cold air as it slips between the skeletons of the forgotten woodland. Standing at the castle door you may pause but before you know what you are doing, the knocker moves and the ancient oak door creaks open...

Welcome to Ravena Storm's Fiction Press. About the author:
Basic Stuff:

Name: Suzanne
Age: 19
Location: Lancaster, UK (for 30 weeks of the year)
From: Manchester, UK (the rest of the time)
Occupation: Student
Currently: Just finished my first year at University doing a degree in English Language and Creative Writing.

Interesting Information:
Interests: Well I like to read and write (duh) but I don't write much in the way of poetry anymore (which is what this page is mostly made up of.) I have some short stories which I may submit at some point, but other than that I'm working on a novel which will never appear on here. Other than writing, I love to swim and play tennis (even though I'm not that good anymore) and I also love random sporty type things like ten-pin bowling, ice-skating and laser questing. I'm quite into photography (okay a lot into it) and I'm the Vice President of the photo society at Lancaster Uni. I'm also a projectionist at the cinema there (yay!).

General Likes:
Stephen King, Tonic, Eliza Dushku, Tim Burton films, being smiled at, talking until daft hours in the morning, males, females, friends, hugging, laughing until I cry, jokes from years ago that'll never grow old, waking up knowing I can stay in bed, skittles, shopping online, blue M&M's and dark chocolate.

General Dislikes:
Narrow-mindedness, lies, distrust, arguments, broken promises, being in the same place for too long, lifts with more than one door, selfishness, cold cheese, Lancaster Uni's English Lit department and Harry Potter.

Favourites:
Films include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ginger Snaps, Donnie Darko, Stephen King's Rose Red, Hocus Pocus and Fly Away Home. Tv programmes are Doctor Who, Power Rangers and random quiz shows like QI and Eight out of Ten Cats. Books range from Watership Down by Richard Adams, through The Stand by Stephen King to Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and Music is mostly people that my friends have never heard of including Tonic, Mostly Autumn, Sarah McLachlan, Tara Maclean and Goo Goo Dolls.

Quotes:
"With all it's sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy." - Max Erhmann 'Desiderata'
"'Cause even though my heart is big enough to fly away, underneath the confidence I'll never say I'm strong enough to be alone" - Tonic 'Do You Know?'
