You pulled me through

the mesh of trees--

looming and aged,

but warm like the tang

of summer musk

that swells like hoarfrost

in the flightless seeds of winter.

So I haven't been around in ages. I'm just warning you, about 70 percent of the stuff on here is bollocks, but I keep it up here, anyhow, if only to chronicle how far I've come... or something like that.

I have a detached interest in metaphysical poetry-- I'm an atheist.

I don't write as often as I should, but I'll probably write to calm this transition that I'm about to experience. Expect new things.

We are wrought from the cracked seeds

of relations lost in change--

thirsting from the aches in our roots

to bring the steadiness of our soil

into the passing of the sun.

Poetry is faith in nonexistence-- the trust in oneself to project the primal agony and contentment of humanity onto judgment, and to chance freely the exposure (and forfeit) of one's self for the better conception of collective mortality. Poetry is man married to thought and the dedication to accepting creation without indulging in the theory of superior promise. Furthermore, poetry is not a reliance on godly providence, but a confidence in man to foretell a prospect on Earth; sight's artistry in consciousness.
