Hi there. I can think of only four reasons why you might be reading this:

1) You're randomly navigating your way through random web-pages in the hope that something might catch your cynical and disinterested eye and provide you with some entertainment.

2) You've randomly found one of my stories and are nosey enough to want to know a bit about the author.

3) You meant to click on the name above or below mine, but your hand slipped at the vital moment.

4) You've heard of me/read my stuff previously.

For whatever reason you're here I'd like to encourage you to continue reading. Allow me some time to transport you into the worlds I have created; meet the inhabitants of those worlds and hear what they have lived through; run with them as they try to flee thier enemies and catch up with thier sanity. I won't try to pretend that my writing is perfect by any means, and you may even find some chapters hard work, but I implore you to stay on for the ride. It is never smooth, and is hopefully less predictable than you'd expect. I have to warn you, however, that some parts of my stories can be pretty brutal and graphic, especially in the Gift of Trust trilogy. It is the harsher aspects of that world that makes my characters what they are. Anyway, you must be getting bored now. I'll leave it to you to read further, or not, as you please. If you do end up reading any of my stories, I'd love to know what you think of them!

And to satisfy those of you who are here for reason number 2: I'm a 21-year-old english girl who is about to start training as an aircraft mechanic. My favourite authors are Kevin Brooks and Tamora Pierce, but I read a very wide variety of other books. In my free time I restore old canal barges.
