Author has written 6 stories for Family, Supernatural, Life, and Friendship. I am English and passionate about writing, or at least I used to be, it seems after a very long time though, I am rediscovering my love of it and writing more. I am exploring the uses of poetry currently, and how I can use this literary form to release some of my feelings, espeically recently. Some of my hobbies include drawing and of course reading! Where would we be with out the escapism that literature provides, and the worlds that we can create in our minds. As I said, I am recently rediscovering my love of writing, writing for me and rediscovering some of the characters that I have neglected of late. As one of my favourite and most inspirationaly quotes goes: 'I like to write, and those who write are never alone.' With that in mind, I hope to continue to write, stories, poetry and anything else that may spring to mind!! I used to an avid fan fiction writer, but that has dwindled also as my life changes. But feel free to check it out, I would really like to start writing that again! My user name is lollypop3, and it is mainly Lord of the Rings fan fic, which as of recently I am getting back into writing and I am determined to finish the project I have been working on for the last five years there. Anyway, I guess I should list some of my favourite books. There are so many to choose from, but to whittle it down I would have to say anything by Darren Shan and Professor Tolkien of course, his work is probably one of my biggest inspirations and being able to escape to that world gives me so much pleasure, and is also where my love of languages stems from. Being widely read, personally I think has enriched me so much, and instilled me with the knowledge of how to improve my own work and try to be original. I am also a huge manga fan, and am influenced a lot by my love of Japanese culture in general, literature, music, pop culture so much so that I am currently studying the language and culture at university and enjoying it immensely, one day I hope to be an interpreter and to study more languages! | |||||||||
