Rey Lakazam and Wynona Diana Rose are put together as roommates at the boarding school the Cosmo-Alex Academy for the Enchanted and Magically-Gifted. They both believe it was just bad luck, but the Council are following an ancient prophesy that was told by a very accurate and reliable prophet millions of years ago. Twists start to tangle in the plot as loyalties and enemies are made. Rey and Winnie fight to keep their school safe from the students they think are behind the strange disappearances, and then murders, but then they find out that they're fighting the wrong foe.
