"The more you get, the more you want, the more you have, the less you want it.
It's
so easy to turn any one failing aspect of your life into a scapegoat
for deeper problems. To convince yourself that the reason you sometimes
feel empty on the inside is because you need to lose weight, or
because you don't have quite enough money takes a lot less
introspection and hurt. It's like chasing an appariton that's not
truely there though. An ephemeral specter forever fleeting that'll only
be replaced by another. Sex, money, alcohol, being spiteful, and stupid
thrills are all easy ways to try to fill that void. I know you feel
lonesome deep down, otherwise you wouldn't act the way you do. None of
us would. Maybe some day we'll find what we need. It was real. I'm 15. Bitter. Sarcastic. But still have a love for beauty. Livejournal & Myspace For the record, if you're reviewing me just to get me to review you? I'm much more likely to review back if you leave a good review. By good, I mean pointing out what it is you do (or don't) like, specifically. Address the things I should work on. Etc. We're all guilty of those "great poem! keep it up!" reviews from time to time.
