Hi!

I have two acounts on fictionpress, lounalune and jussanothergull. I created this account about two and a half years ago, shortly after starting to accept my homosexuality, out of paranoia. I was afraid that people could recognize me through the information I give in my bio under the penname lounalune, which is why my bio here was so short. I also wanted to be able to give my fictionpress penname to friends who don't know that I'm gay. Mainly, through summaries, and, at the beginning, a bio, that were slightly provocative, I wanted to test whether the world is really as homophobic as I thought.

There is now no need for this account anymore. Most of my friends now know about my homosexuality, and the ones who don't know about it, it's mostly because I have not had an oportunity to tell them since I marched on the gaypride 2006 through the streets of Montpellier (France) and took the decision not to hide anymore. I'll be starting college in september, and I will tell the people I meet there about my sexual orientation. I realized that, though there are homophobes, there are many more people who do not have a problem with homosexuality. Jussanothergull has acompanied me through a difficult and, I think, important time in my life, not only as a penname on fictionpress, but also as a second e-mail, and as a name I use on gay forums. I deleted the e-mail adress a few months ago, and I just moved all my stories from this account to Lounalune. Within the coming months, I am going to delete jussanothergull. (Well, I haven't found the way to do that on fictionpress. Could anybody tell me if it's possible?)

I want to thank everybody who reviewed my poems and story, and all my friends who accept me as I am. You helped me realize that there's nothing wrong with myself, and that there are many people out there who are ready to accept me as I am.
