Author has written 11 stories for Life, General, Love, Fantasy, and General. My name's Alex and I'm going off to the University of Victoria to study English. I've had a fictionpress account for a long time, but I've just recently decided to get back into things. Writing has always been a passion of mine, but I'm sometimes a little scatterbrained about sticking to one story at a time so forgive me for that. Other than writing, I'm really big into reading. Just finished reading 'I Capture the Castle' by Dodie Smith, fantastic read. I also love art, drawing and photography mostly. You can see some of my stuff at my deviantart address. I'm a movie nut so if anyone's looking for someone to talk cinema with, I'm your gal. I'm looking to be a writer someday, but who knows really. I want a lot of criticism from you readers out there, because otherwise I'll probably never even come close. I still have a bunch of my older, crappier stuff up, especially some god-awful poetry, but I feel that it's better to get a complete picture of where I've come from as a writer. In my most recent writing news I took a Writer's Craft class at my high school and I did a semester internship with a local newspaper.
