Homepage leads to deviantART account, which then leads to fanfiction page, which then leads here. It's an amazing triangle of me!
Udoria is the country in a fantasy world of my creation where most of my stories take place. The largest stories are Crystal Quest and Darkness Rising, both of which I have taken down for editing. Chances of them being reposted are slim, because no one gives me concrit, probably because the only people who read them have been with me from the beginning and can only see how much I've improved, rather than note the shortcomings that I myself see when I go back and reread parts. Anyway, I've been working on Crystal Quest for about four years, and Darkness Rising, its sequel, has been in existence about two. Udoria has grown and developed right along with me, and over the past few years has been somewhat influenced by Tolkien (since I've fallen in love with his Middle-earth).
The only multi-chapter story I'm keeping up here is by no means my best - it is in first person, a style I abandoned soon into the second or third rewrite of CQ, but decided to try again in writing No Greater Love, which is heavily, heavily based on my Christian faith. I will also be posting the occasional short story, like Fallen and its companion Survivor. Poetry is few and far between, but I have my moments.
Lately I've gotten into writing fanfiction - LotR, of course. I began writing fanfiction before starting CQ, but it didn't work well, and I found it hard to keep the characters in character. I've tried again, though, now that I've matured and found a fandom I love enough to get serious with, and I'm actually rather proud of the result. Click on my homepage and then my homepage there to get to it. ;) Or search the penname StarSpray.
