IN THE WORKS: Never Let Go UPDATES9.5.06: I'm so sorry everyone. I'm trying to work on this, I really am. But two other novels and school have just been constantly getting in the way. I'm going to try to finish this someday because I'm very attached to it, but I don't know when that someday will be. 3.19.06: Sorry for the total lack of updates my kind reviewers. I'm experiencing a bit of writer's block while my lovely characters are in Alaska. I guess it's because I've never been and I'm having trouble describing it. I will try to continue this ASAP. 7.25.05: Okay so here's the story with this one: The original I was starting to really HATE. and i can't write something I dont like so i stopped for a while. then i really got to know my friend Kittie, and she introduced me to the amazing world of Shonen-Ai/YAOI. and i've been just a "small" fan since then. haha. anyways, then my other friend was like "you should write a yaoi story" and i was like 'naaaah,....' but i thought about it, and i decided "hmm, what a perfect excuse to rewrite Never Let Go... so I'm rewriting Never Let Go into something a bit different, but don't worry, its still a mystery. it just now includes YAOI/SHONEN-AI so fans of boy+boy love, WELCOME. NEW! The Life That Was A DreamA very brilliant teacher inspired me to begin writing this during Thanksgiving of 2004 after reading "The House on Mango Street". At first, I did it for a school project but ended up falling in love with the writing style. Vignettes. They're short descriptive pieces of literature that don't always necesarily connect, though I'm going to make them flow. I'm using this style as a way to chronicle a teenage girl's life through high school. I'm using my name in it (Valorie) but know that not all of it is drawn from real life experiences. It is a story about surviving high school and surviving love ~ which while my life is (thankfuly) filled with love, currently, it may not always be (God forbid). Leave plenty of reviews, I love them.
