To explain my penname, a paladin is a champion of a noble cause. So by adding dark it means champion for the wrong causes. Since my poetry is typically on the dark side and cynical, I like how it sounds and think it fits me. So then I just put in my lucky number, 13, and poof that's how I got darkpaladin13.

Okay, to understand the guy behind the writing. I was born on 6/3/87 (Gemini for those who are into that and a rabbit for those into that) so that makes me 19 (for people who can't do the math) and a soon-to-be 2nd yearcollege student. Texan born and bred all my life. I'm not a huge reader but this site's changed that.

Author's note: Regarding the songs, the style I say they are in is just for my reference. If they are ever sung it wouldn't be like that, it's just what I had in my head as I wrote them, I only write the lyrics, because I am really not that musically gifted to write the music and am not in a band so right now I can not play them. However if you want to try and sing them or play them in a band e-mail me and we'll talk. I don't mind letting people try, as long as you want to try and ask me I'm okay with it.
