| Mr Ragna Badguy |
Author has written 11 stories for Fantasy, and Manga. "Lol on sheeps and pigs flying all around in 6 and 6 Bloodline Rebellion. At least the wolves in 5 Dark Resurrection are smarter and much more agile..." My take on the animals in the Tekken stages. :D Avatar change yet again and again. This time, it's Tohno Shiki in Nanaya mode from the manga adaptation of Tsukihime. Quite frankly one of the most awesome gaming characters ever. On a side note if only I can get Lorenir to have a multiple pair up with Rin from the Fate series, Asagami Fujino of Kara no Kyokai and Arcueid Brunestud and Tohno Akiha of Tsukihime. Yes, I know it's polygamy, but I just can't choose one! -.- And this is why Tohno Shiki is so awesome: Going to be killed. - Tohno Shiki when he's entering Nanaya mode during the fight with Nero Chaos. "You want to kill me, right, monster?" - Mr Satsujinki aka Shiki in Nanaya mode. Chokushi no Magan owns for sure. Tohno Shiki of Tsukihime ftw and Ryougi Shiki of Kara no Kyokai ftmfw. Former is imba enough, but if you mess with the latter, you mess with Akasha itself. Not a good idea if you ask me. ;) And I just recently knew that Ryougi has an insane attacking reach due to her family lineage. Having a 3 ft attacking range is crazy enough, but when she actually have a 9 ft attacking distance using her katana, this is when things go imba. ;) Ok. Major overhaul of profile here since I guess it's hi-time I do that. :) Firstly, the basics. If you want to know more about my works and/or how my reviewing system works instead, skip this. Warning if you choose to proceed though: what will be shown here will be rather extensive. Name? Call me Mr Ragna Badguy. That's my official nick now. :) Who in the blue hell calls himself that? Shut up. You're in no position to question the awesome legends called Ragna the Bloodedge of Blazblue and Sol Badguy of Guilty Gear. Their pure bad assery as video gaming characters will either convert you or just condemn you into stupidity just like all the people who think Ryu is the best thing fighting games has ever given. No insult meant at the Street Fighter dude, but let's be honest, either Ragna or Sol will just rape him straight in terms of greatness and power level. ;) That and Ryu just plainly sucks in terms of appeal. The fight is all kind of static character type? Check. Spamming tons of retarded one pattern Hadouken and Shoryuken combos? You got it right. Most gay Ultra game in Street Fighter 4? You're obviously blindly homo for him if you disagree with me. Any titbits on your life? First of all, I'm a Reformist Christian. A Bible Presbyterian to be exact. And of course one with a lot of flaws as well. Especially swearing. And I'm trying to change that with no real success. :( Secondly, I'm a big fan on manga. Don't try to convert me to yaoism though. I'm not going along that line and neither will be in the future as well. Also, I'm a big fan of video gaming. In particular fighting games and RPGs. Blazblue and Guilty Gear top the list for me in the fighters department while RPGs... well as long as it's fantasy with cool characters, gameplay and abilities, all is fair game for me. :) Too bad Sega screwed the Shining series gameplay after they took the rights from Camelot. That and they actually took the rights of Guilty Gear is the greatest travesty of justice in the gaming world. But then again, I've got nothing against the Shining games characters from Sega people themselves. If anything, every character in Shining Tears, Shining Wind and Shining Wind X is a visual fest. Erm.. well at least for an average guy anyway. :S Thirdly, I'm a nut for high fantasy and this also extends to manga and RPGs. Basically, Drizzt > everybody else in terms of cool factor. Go figure. Unfortunately, I'm still in a state of financial limbo. so no buying of the Transitions series for now. Sucks to actually see Innovindil dying though. Oh Salvatore why must you kill her off? :( And yes, the 4th ed of the D&D Forgotten Realms is a major epic fail. Mystra and Eilistraee being killed off? Way to go Wizards of the Coast. You bloody failed all of us here. :S This is basically an example of a lame G.R.R Martins copycat job tbh. And the Wood Elves of the Warhammer Fantasy world just owns all of you for free. ;) How I will react to reviews. Number 1 rule: I return all reviews. Number 2 rule: No flaming. If I find you guilty of this unforgivable sin, then be very sure I will ignore you. If you flame me under a signed status, be very sure I won't review you back. That and I will user-block you for good. Also, in giving criticisms, be very sure to give concrete help that I can refer from. Also, due to my grammar problem, I'll appreciate it if you focus more on the contents. Another noteworthy issue is that I basically won't go batshit guano loco on you if at certain points of your reviews, you actually hit an off topic path at varying extents. I myself do have a tendency to do that at times, so I won't really mind unless you actually put in like 90 percent of your review with off topic stuff. My style of reviewing. One thing is that due to my poor grammar, I won't go onto this area correction wise. Rather like what I'd expected from you, I will focus entirely on the contents. Meaning the plot and characters although I may comment on other areas like action scenes. Also, due to me being a reactive person, there can be a possibility that I will go off topic in varying extents in relations to the contents on a random basis. Due to this reason as well, I might go overboard in airing my own views. Under this scenario, if I offend anyone, I apologize. In fact under this situation, I'll put in a note of apology in my review. If you think I've missed out this part in any random review of mine if you feel offended, do let me know through a reviewer reply and I will be sure to send in an apology, maybe some other random words as well, and make a note not to hit the same minefield again. Do take note that this area is VERY important because I don't want to lose a good reviewer out of nothing. Which stories I will review To be frank I'm more or less partial towards fantasy. But then again, I'll more or less review anything you guys ask me to. Either that or I'll go random choosing if you got more than one work. Most likely I'll start with one-shots or lesser chapter ones. One thing for sure though is that I won't review slash fics by default unless you don't have anything up apart from slash fics in your profile. Under this case, I'll go for those within the T rating since there's no such thing as a K rated slash. The children aspect you know. Of course if you only got M rated ones, on the basis of my review returning policy, I'll have no choice but to arrow them. Be warned though that if there's any explicit sex scenes, chances are that I can only come up with a less coherent review since more or less, my brains works in such a way that it might be affected by such stuff upon reading. Even if I try skimming over them, chances are that I will still catch certain excerpts. On the other hand, if your slash fic is T rated, chances are that I can do a more detailed review due to the possible lack of explicit scenes. LATEST NOTICE ON MY REVIEW STANDARDS: PLEASE TRY TO REVIEW MY STORIES ON A CHAPTER BY CHAPTER BASIS!! Okay, I think I will have to get this through because from my experience, I do find that doing so will give the reviewer the maximum space to actually comment on the chapters itself especially for the contents. So to all old, constant and new reviewers, please take note of this. :) A list of my works. Take note that Sendai Eiyuuden is officially dead and thus, I won't be doing any intro for it. Circles of Arven: This is my top priority fic for now. Well, basically, it's about one young ranger and his journey to... erm... yeah, save the world. Yeah I know it's cliched, but I'm trying to input a good plot for it, so be kind. Well, basically, inspiration comes chiefly from Tolkien and Forgotten Realms. And one more thing. If you guys see certain similiarities that scream Tolkien or even Wheel of Time, I apologize. I just don't know why to be honest. I just screwed up... :( World of Arven: Well, that's it. An encyclopedia on the world of Circles of Arven. I'm on hold for this one though, so be prepared to see this abandoned as well since I won't discount the chances of that happening. :( The Elven Chronicles: This is what some of my reviewers say my best work currently. Well, basically it's about a young Wood Elven Bladesinger embarking on a journey he's not really willing to. But of course he will have to do that for certain reasons and I'm not going like save the world or something like that. That being said though, things may change in course of time, so just look out for it. ;) Basically, the inspiration comes from Warhammer Fantasy. In fact, I borrowed so much from that series, I'm suspecting that this story may not go well with fans of the series. :S Wolfblood: Basically, from the general feedback, the bottom of the pile. :( Don't ask me why. I've got no idea either since what I've written in my stories came straight from my brain without any form of editing for the contents. :S Anyway, it's about one elven guy who's on his own personal journey. And there's a reason behind it. Along the way, he will know friends and foes. Above all, he will see the face of the one who betrayed him and his deceased mother one more time. Wow, that's some drama, huh? I really hope you guys won't be disappointed seeing this intro and compare it with my story 'cuz I know... yeah, I know you guys will go wtf to be honest. :( Well, basically, inspiration comes from the trading card game Magic: The Gathering. In fact, I planning to put elements similiar to it in that story in the future with a certain twist. Just don't know how I'm going to go about doing this though. :S Bloodfire: My first whim write and I'll say it has a potential of being a good story or a plain flop. I don't know to be honest. It can go either way I suppose. Anyway, it's about one guy who was viewed as a cursed being. But is it really the case? Will he actually give to the thirst to kill or will he master it? Basically inspiration comes for the online game Guild Wars. Of course I'm trying to be original here. Just don't know how that will turn out. :( Inheritance of the Four Kingdoms: Well, second work on the whim write list. I'll have to say that I've got more inspirations for the future plot compared to Bloodfire. Basically, it's about one guy and his future journey to decide the fate of his world. Yeah I know it's lame, but that's the best I can come up with without spoiling anything. :S Inspiration came from a Korean drama I'm seeing now. Seal of Valor: Third whim write work. Basically inspiration came from a particular free to play online RPG. A young Half Elf seemed to have nothing to do with the fate of the world. But it seemed that things might not be that simple. Still in experimental stage. A Ranger's Tale: Latest kid on the block albeit being a whim write as well. Basically got the urge to write it after playing a Facebook RPG application entitled Hammerfall. Yeah, I got loads of fun playing it and I believe you guys will find it so as well. :) A Ranger wandered throughout the world to seek the one who caused him to be his current self. He had fought a lonely battle all the while. So question is: will this continue in the future? Also my first real attempt to do an anti-hero as my main character. Atheran: The latest result from my constant focus failure brain. Period. Well I can say that the planning for this one is still at experimental stage, so nothing absolute out yet. :S But do check it out and review will ya? On a side note I got the spark for it after I went window shopping in a manga store and found a new PC fantasy game entitled Elven Legacy. Sad to say however my PC is in a screwed state. Meaning no way I can actually enjoy playing a game even with decent requirements. :( The Eternal Grail: My new work in the process. Inspiration came from Eternal Wheel, a uber cool card simulation game created by Square Enix. Plot is still in planning phase, so in terms of updating, this can go either way. :S Well, anyway, I'm still going hesitant on what I want to do next. But if God permits, then I'll most likely do an encyclopedia on the world of The Elven Chronicles and Wolfblood. Maybe Bloodfire as well. But given what had happened to my current attempt on this kind of work, I'm not too sure. :( Ok, that's all being said here. Do enjoy my stories. :) P.S: This is my warning to all you would-be plagiarizers out there. If by some chance of God's will I discovered that you're ripping off my works or ideas without my permission, be very sure I'll have the luxury of going either into Blood Kain mode or Dragon Install rage on you. Worst case scenario, I'll loose ORT aka that insane being in Nasuverse onto you Either way be very afraid of my vengeance. I don't own anything in Blazblue or Guilty Gear, but for sure I do own the stories written here and everything within the works. On a side note, I do really wish I can own Blazblue and Guilty Gear. At least I won't create a failure scenario for Ragna in his Blazblue arcade ending and actually giving Sol a real shot at greatness in his story mode for the latest Guilty Gear game. :S And yes, ORT owns all of you. XD Latest w00t from yours truly: YES!! Finally, after a long time... okay not so long that is, BlazBlue is out with it's first sequel, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Check out the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIEK24uCO0c This intro trailer is the shizzle. View it and you won't regret it. In fact I'm looking forward to any PMs you guys might shoot at me just for the sake of it's greatness. Arc Systems Works ftw for the games it churns out. :) And yeah, Ragna is so uber badass at the beginning of the vid. And lmao on him beating the snot out of that big gay Jin. :D INFERNO DIVIDER!! ftw. XD | |||||||||
