My name is Beth. I have another account on here, Juni, mostly with older poetry/fiction.
Some quick facts about me:

Some obsessions include musicals (my boyfriend took me to see RENT on broadway!!), mythology, pinapple, portobello mushrooms, green tea, pansies, organic everything, Ireland (I'm mostly Irish), scrabble and walking.
I hate math with a fiery passion.
I read 100 books in one year for my 2006 resolution.
My favorite artists are Degas, Wolf Kahn, John William Waterhouse, Mary Cassatt, Sally Mann, Diane Arbus and Monet.
I am currently listening to: Only Me When I'm With You by Taylor Swift, Music of the Night by Andrew Lloyd Webber, 3 AM by Matchbox Twenty, Brighter by Paramore, Knock 3 Times by Tony Orlando and Dawn, and All the World Tonight by Graham Colton Band.
"I took out my paints, my canvas, squeezed some color onto the palette my father had given me. A painting of beauty. Maybe not a woman this time. Maybe a crystal, a light, an explosion of lights, a tree covered with suns. The paint I squeezed out was wet and red like blood but it was only paint. A different sacrifice to a different beauty." Echo, Fransesca Lia Block
I am not often around. I don't write much anymore, although I sort of lust after the inspiration I used to have. It just isn't often there. My computer crashed and everything I had ever written was lost, which sort of dented my will to create. . . Plus, I'm not as damaged as I used to be. I feel much more like a person now.
I have an amazing boyfriend! We've been together for two and a half years. He has inspired some of my more recent work.
I have also dealt with and witnessed a good share of dark, painful things- rape and eating disorders included. These things influence my work, too.
It's true: "True love does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly." -Jason Jordan
I would like to thank all of my reviewers, particularly Aquafied, degenerate elite rabbit, and Seraph Strike! Not only are they each immensely talented, but they always give me warm fuzzies with their supportive and encouraging reviews! I truly aprreciate it!
I'd also like to make a few suggestions: my favorites include (in no particular order) "Stripped," "Self Destruct," "Futile Resistance," "What Was," "SlimFast," "Evading Happiness," and "Dreamland."
I also have a livejournal account under the name Macbethany, as well as facebook and myspace. But basically everything is exclusively for my friends. So, if you have an account, add me. I'll add you back.
If anyone wants to talk on AIM, just ask.
Thanks for stopping by! : D
