Hello! How nice of you to visit my lovely FictionPress page!
Here's some basic info about me.
Name: Elizabeth
Age: 17
Place: Sydney, Australia
Umm, that's me I guess. Reading is a very big passion of mine and can consume me for days if I hit a good series. I am a bit lazy in my reading, I read too many teen fiction books that aren't exactly challenging. I really should read more of the classics. I'm sort of sporty ... ish. I used to swim heaps, play netball and I was a runner, except now I don't do any sport at all. And I'm musical. I've been playing the piano for 11 years and I also play percussion and guitar (admittedly not very well).
Here are some of my favourite books that I love and that have changed my life:
The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (of course), Tamora Pierce books centered around Tortall, the Tomorrow When the War Began series by John Marsden (as well as all his books), Looking for Alibrandi and Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta, all of Isobelle Carmody's books, all of Meg Cabot's books.
I also watch a few TV shows. My favourite shows are Skins, Gossip Girl, Friends, Grey's Anatomy, The Chaser's War on Everything and Spicks and Specks. I also enjoy The Office and Kath and Kim as well as the usual stuff like The Simpsons. Of course. But definitely no reality TV shows! Urgh, I really dislike them. What a waste of time.
Hmm, what else to say ...
I love my Mac..? And my friends.
Personality wise, I'm very in tune to how other people feel and generally I mesh to fit the people I'm around. I like to think of myself as courageous and I don't put up with crap. I believe in honesty and equality between all people.

Wow, my favourites list is way too long. Not all of the stuff on that list is good! Some times there's just a nice paragraph I like, or perhaps the story is devastatingly unoriginal and badly written but it made me laugh. That list is more for other people to find stories they'd like to read.

Here are some hints for wading through the rubbish to find a good story on this site. Once you find a good story check out the authors other stories and their favourites list. Go to the review page and click on the names of people who have written good, grammatically correct reviews. Often they'll have good favourites lists too.
If I've reviewed your story I hope it was a good one! Whether I put effort into my reviews usually depends on the Author's Note at the beginning and end. I like getting replies to my reviews, it makes me feel as if I've made a difference. So there are some stories with lovely authors where I'll write 4 paragraphs, but others get a line. It also depends on the story, I guess.
