Check out my "writing journal" at jstaples.livejournal.com if you want to know what goes on in my devious mind when it comes to my writing!
Alex J. Finn is a middle-class university student living in the Southern
Hemisphere. Not too poor, not too rich, she enjoys writing as a
pastime and enjoys reviews even more (so review, they make her feel
visible). Her area of "expertise" is angsty lesbian lovage,
although there may come a time when she decides to hop the fence and
write normal lesbian/angsty straight (none of which are as lethal a
combination as angsty lesbian, because there's just not enough
coverage) stories.
Alex indulges in a very wide range of music,
is able to play the drums and is currently trying to learn
guitar. Amongst others, her
favourites to listen to are Death Cab For Cutie, Muse, Rock Kills Kid and We
Are Scientists. Alex also is rather partial to pop, blues, jazz,
house and various other forms of music but is not completely interested
in gangster rap unless it's melodic.
Current works:
+ Krugers and Ashes: Director's Cut
- It's now been completely reworked pretty much, with longer chapters
and previously deleted scenes. This is really just an excuse for me to practice writing sex, because I suck. At writing sex, I mean. Not "suck" as in anything else. GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER.
Maybe for the Promise - It's good. So good, you can't resist. So good that that's all I need to say about it. on hold until I finish writing K&A
Upcoming:
+ (untitled project)
+ NFIA: National Federal Intelligence Agency (now tentatively retitled Battle Lines) - Stay tuned for more!
26th October, 2007:
Who reads this page? I made an LJ account for... personal reasons, one that's separate from my, er, other LJ account. So I thought I might as well turn it into my writing journal, if you will. Everything will be uploaded onto Fp.com, but all these "blog" entries will be on the LJ page from now on. So, if you actually read this and want to be kept in the loop, trek on over to http://jstaples.livejournal.com! The username comes from one of the characters in "Don't You Know, I'd Die For You," who I think will have some sort of fic-arc to herself after I've managed to prioritise my various writing projects, yay!
