Hey everyone, my name is Mallory. Anyone can tell you that I am a very unique person. I love all sorts of music. Mostly Christian contemporary and rock and and things like that. Switchfoot, Relient K, that sort of stuff. I like a lot of other stuff too. I guess you could call me emo, but I'm not emo like some of my other friends. Honestly, you can't just give me a categoy. I am a total band geek, though. I play oboe in wind ensamble, bass drum in marching band, piano/percussion in winter drumline, alto sax in jazz band, and anything else you want to challenge me with. I love a good challenge. I am in a band called Joyful Noise, and I am working on writing some new music. I love music, but writing is my other passion. Writing is how I express myself through words. I can express my feelings through music all the time, but writing poetry and novels are a different sort of art. I love it. How could you not? My favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, Terry Blackstock, and James Patterson. I get a lot of my ideas for writing novels through the style of other authors, and then I enjoy making it my own. Its' always a nice challenge. I spent part of my summer in Ecuador, and my life was changed. I wish I could say I stayed changed, but sometimes I rock back and forth between wanting to do my own thing and wanting to do what is right. God is my hero, and the best thing there is in life. Without Him, I would have nothing. He is the one true comfort I will always have, and is also the driving force in most things I write and play or sing. Living for Him is the best thing I could ever have done.
