My name is Hawke. I am a poet and a writer of fantasy.

I'm sorry that I haven't reviewed anyone in a really long time. College tends to suck the life out of me sometimes, but I'm almost done! WOOT! That being said, I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten you, I'm just really, really busy with school. :(

I've been writing since sixth grade, knowing full well as such a young age that I wanted to be a writer/poet. I am a sensative person who is rather silly as well as dark, as you will probably be able to tell from my poetry. Don't get me wrong, I do write love poems as well (trying to write them without cliches).

I am a senior at FLC.

Writing is my passion, my life. It is an outlet for the blood of my battered life. It is composed of threads of my soul, that when woven together, give one a brief image of my being, of who I am.

I am more than willing to write something for you or someone you know. Just send me an e-mail or something of the sort and I'll do my best to write something you will enjoy.

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
