Author has written 11 stories for Fantasy, Romance, General, Fantasy, and Horror. “Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.” (Carroll, Lewis. Jabberwocky.) Stuff about my stories: Inspiration: Complete. So, the idea for this story came to me through boredom. I wanted to write a story, but I had no inspiration whatsoever. So, I decided to ask one of my friends a series of very basic questions, and his answers would be somehow involved in the story I was to write. I asked 10 questions, and requested that the answers be the FIRST THING that came to his mind. They were: A song. A style of art. A band. A number between 1 and 342. A movie. A book. A place. A beverage. An animal, and a letter. In return, I have named the story: Inspiration. I'll include the list of things again at the end, both the questions and the answers. Many thanks to this friend for his help - unknowing though it might have been. Oath Bound: Okay, so after rereading this again and again and again, I've decided that I am so not happy. Majorly. This means, that I have begun the slow, laborious process of a massive rewrite. yep. I know. I don't even have the grace to finish this version while I rewrite it. I will, however, leave this version up until, well, doomsday. Or until I become so frustrated as to utterly abolish it. But I doubt that. And the Rain Came Down: Complete. Each chapter is a different character, just to clarify. If people want, I will add a third, explaining the last sister, but unless it comes requested, it won't be added to. Shouru: This is one of the stories put on the back-burner indefinitely. Don't expect updates any time soon, I've put other things much higher up on the list. Nyimpha Morth: Yet another story begun and, well, begun. The chapter's don't make much sense, and there is a lot of cleaning that needs to be done before it can really be workable. Another one that needs to be hacked and slashed and stitched back together until it makes a pretty tapestry instead of an old horse blanket. Wynter Storm: Again, let me pull out my broadsword and cut this up into manageable bits. There is too much, too fast, and needs, like Nyimpha Morth, to be made into a tapestry, not a diaper rag. Expect nothing anytime soon. Child of the Forest: Complete. This is very different from my other stories, and I appreciate the feedback it has gotten. Thank you all. Just a Mask: Complete. My thanks to midnight soul for "Gratitude" - it means a lot to me. Into the Moon: Complete. Yes, it is in poem, yes it does rhyme throughout, but it is still a story. Please let me know what you think. Correspondence: Co-written with Flamebird. This story will most likely be continually updated, as Flamebird will push me to write my own responses to her chapters in a timely fashion (although that is changing as each of us takes on more and different things to do). It is the story of two women and a summer they spend apart, although potentially longer, and the trials they both face. Kindly read and review. "Kind soulds, what, weep you when you but behold Our Ceasar's vesture wounded? look you here, Here is himself, marred as you see with traitors. (Shakespeare, William. Julius Caesar, Act III scene II. Ln. 207-209) | |||||||||
