Author has written 17 stories for Supernatural, Horror, Sci-Fi, Young Adult, Romance, Fable, and General. Age: 23. Hello, Torey Hylton here. My name on here is a pseudonym of my real name and it's as close to my real name as you're gonna get! I started writing at around four years old but have only been passionate about it within the last eight years or so. I suffer terribly with writer's block but I also suffer with great periods of inspiration. I use the term suffering lightly but use it nonetheless. That's because when I'm in writing mode I hardly do anything else and that includes lack of eating, sleeping, drinking, paying bills etc. Well, if I had bills to pay that is. But you get my point. I enjoy writing about a wide range of subjects, including really scary horror, gruesome horror, comedy horror, really sad life-stories, really funny life-stories, serious stuff, wacky stuff and a whole load of experimental stuff. When I'm feeling really inspirational I'm often full of so many ideas for stories and will probably start writing about ten on the go. I also have a great big word document filled with story ideas and potential titles. I have about a hundred of each. Oh, that reminds me. I'm currently writing a collection of short stories with the title of One Hundred Stories (how original lol). And yes, I plan to have 100 stories written by the time I finish. Please read and review if you have a chance! 28 Feb 09 - I might not be updating my stories for a while as I've once again succombed to one of my depressive episodes. Everything I enjoy (such as writing) feels like a chore rather than a hobby when I'm like this. Damn you, depression! Hopefully I will be able to post some new stories soon.
