I try to avoid reading all poetry and romance stories (eww mush). I normally stick to the horror and thriller genres, and I will read and review most stories under 2000 words. (unfortunately, I don't have time to read the longer ones). Also, I review everything I read and, good or bad, I'm incredibly honest. (700 reviews and counting)
QUOTE: Fearless is an interesting word, for in fact, in being fearless you are not without fear, rather you are withstanding fear. You are moving forward in spite of it. Writing a very short story requires a degree of fearlessness and I think reading one does also. I have deep respect for the very short story for many reasons, perhaps most profoundly for its fearlessness. –Meredith Pignon
I greatly appreciate any reviews I get. Feel free to praise my stories or slam them or to point out any problems, mistakes, or discrepencies you may find in them. It's feedback like that that makes me a better writer. Thanks.
I write to get the stories out of my head (and hopefully entertain others). I have finished one novel and I'm in the middle of trying to get an agent. I also love to write quick one shot stories that I put on here for you all to read. I hope you enjoy reading my works as much as I enjoy writing them.
I am re-posting a few stories that I had removed to submit to contests. I didn't do too well in the contests but I hope you all enjoy them anyway. The stories are Closure, In Left Field, My Hell, The Locked Door, and To Whom It May Concern. In the re-posting of these stories, the format got a little screwed up. Sorry about that.
I am also reposting Heaven and Hell and Getting Rid of George. I realized that they are too long so I'm reposting them as chaptered stories.
I am currently working on a young adult/children's novella which I will post on here when I'm done. It's going pretty good so far (no one has died yet). If you'd like to see my first 2 attempts at young adult, read The Toe Monster and In Left Field, they both started out with good intentions but took unexpected tragic twists. Oh well, try and try again.
