List: Toki GO follows the adventures of Akikawa, a prodigy inventor who finds himself mixed up in the insanity wrought from his newest invention, a time machine. More often than not, these mishaps are the fault of an chimera dubbed 'Chikara,' who worked as a spy of sorts for an alien organization until they tried to kill her. Ultimately, this is what causes her to fall backwards in time, and into Akikawa's apartment, no less. Lave Au Rivage is the unfurling tale of Cadfael Han, a boy who is in a great hurry to grow up and become a warrior. In order to impress his would-be mentor, a retired enchanter and former warlord, Han sets out one morning on a typical errand, hoping to find something along the way that will suit his 'needs.' In the end, he comes across a mysterious ex-soldier of some sort and a girl who, unbeknownst to him, is the princess of an enemy nation. This is where our story has taken off. HONG FENG chronicles the events that surround Chun Li and Wei Sheng, a pair of childhood friends who were reunited after six years and begin to fall in love. Throughout the story, it is revealed that they are the reincarnates of a star-crossed couple, (Suki and Keitaro) whose fates have been sealed, so to speak. Unless they can break a curse that has been set upon them, Chun Li will die in the new year, and Wei Sheng will not take long to follow, in which case, the cycle would repeat. This is, notably, the first attempt at a romance that I have ever made. Pomegranate involves the opposing teams led by Zakuro and Rio in their never-ending quest to get the better of eachother. Zakuro lost half of his face in a war and is on his own private mission to find something he claims to have lost in the same battle as his face; Rio is simply out to get rich. It, like Lave Au Rivage, takes place in an alternate universe, but a fun one, nonetheless. It contains some mature subject matter, but nothing terribly explicit; the rating may or may not go up. | |||||||||||
