COMPLETE:
The City of Lindbergh
Summary: “Either way, not a day goes by without a new killing. I have to admit though; my family is accountable for most of them.” In a city abandoned by the gods, crime is the only way to survive, and Ashlyn Rafe is no exception. Skilled thief, murderer's daughter and sister to the most powerful gang leader in Lindbergh, Ashlyn's no stranger to the dark side of her home city. On a theft gone wrong she's kidnapped and mistaken to be a rich aristocrat. Her family have no idea where she is, and her captors have no idea who she is. If they knew just whose daughter she really was, they’d have no choice but to kill her. So, Ashlyn becomes Beatrix Lewis, Lady Beatrix Lewis and for a thief, that’s not so easy...
Going through editing, but it's finished. Sequel coming in summer.
IN PROGRESS:
Your Vague Outline
Summary: William's dreaming and Bridie wishes she was. Bridie can't remember and William wishes he couldn't. He's invisible, she's lost. They're both completely mad. Or just victims of a twist in fate?
A very human story that touches on the supernatural. It's very philosophical, but not in a preaching way. I think I am actually in love with this story. I plan on writing this, and the sequel to CoL, in summer.
The Bird Urchins (Sequel to City of Lindbergh)
Summary: Robin always knew her mother was hiding something, she just didn't realise it was her. Suddenly hunted and running for her life, Robin finds out the truths and secrets she has so longed to hear. But it is not just her mother's ghosts that are dangerous. Lindbergh is drowning in rumours of the Jedrek, the Devil's own shadow hound. A monster who stalks the streets intent on the blood of every gang member in the city. The bravest claim it's a myth, but there's no ignoring the number of bodies being found, all with their throat torn. If the most powerful men in Desanca can't survive, then what hope is there for Robin?
Prologue is up and Chapter One will be following shortly. It's all planned, but it's long. I hope to finish it by the end of summer. We'll see.
FORTHCOMING:
Cockles and Mussels
Summary: In Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty... Everyone's heard of Molly Malone, but what of her sister? She's very much alive, yet with every constable in Ireland looking to see her swing from the noose, and the net of disguises she's woven starting to unravel, she might well be joining her sister on the ghost trails of Dublin.
A historical, action/adventure romance! Don't know when this will get out, depends which story I choose to focus on.
Loyalty For Love (Prequel/Companion Piece to City of Lindbergh)
Summary: “You are right. I was a fool to think you a lovesick girl. You are too cold for that. Love is a notion for those who feel. I wonder, do you even have a heart?” She met his feverish gaze, her own dark and cool. He was watching her, waiting for her to reply. “Do you?” Adelaide always wondered if she had made a deal with the devil. The strange thing was, he always wondered the same.
Dylan and Ashlyn's mother's story! It's about ten chapters long, but they're short, choppy pieces, spanning her lifetime. Like glimpses into her life. It'll explain a lot; the strange relationship she had with Jacob Rafe, why Dylan is so unforgiving of her, why Ashlyn doesn't even know her name, and how Reuben is involved in it all. It can't be posted until certain bits of the Bird Urchins has been, as it'll give away bits of the plot, but it's pretty much written, so when BU is up, this will be too.
