The last few chapters of CoL are nearly finished, just a couple of sections and then an epilogue to go. I'm letting my perfectionist side run riot which is why it's taking so long. I want to go over it all and edit (again) but I think I'll leave that for a few months time. God knows I need a break from Lindbergh! Once I've completed CoL (again), I'm going to pick another project to write, something that's completely different. I have several ideas so it shouldn't be too hard to choose one. Hopefully writing something different will make editing CoL easier when the time comes, and then I should be able to start afresh with it's sequel, The Bird Urchins. In theory anyway.

As always, bear with me!

Thanks,

IN PROGRESS:

The City of Lindbergh

Summary:Either way, not a day goes by without a new killing. I have to admit though; my family is accountable for most of them.” In a city abandoned by the gods, crime is the only way to survive, and Ashlyn Rafe is no exception. Skilled thief, murderer's daughter and sister to the most powerful gang leader in Lindbergh, Ashlyn's no stranger to the dark side of her home city. On a theft gone wrong she's kidnapped and mistaken to be a rich aristocrat. Her family have no idea where she is, and her captors have no idea who she is. If they knew just whose daughter she really was, they’d have no choice but to kill her. So, Ashlyn becomes Beatrix Lewis, Lady Beatrix Lewis and for a thief, that’s not so easy...

Going through editing, and the ending (from chapter 25 onwards) is being completely changed. There's now an extra three chapters where the epilogue used to be. I wasn't happy with the ending, so I'm hoping this new version will wind things up properly. It'll cover the gang feuds, the curse, and other little bits that never got their final say.
