| Melissa Felton |
Author has written 2 stories for Horror, and General. Name: Melissa Felton Age: Does it really matter? Race: I'm an alien. Really. Occupation: Currently taking classes. On what, you don't have a right to know. I've haven't always enjoyed writing (or reading, for that matter), but since the fourth grade, reading went up in my 'must do more often' list. Writing joined that list when I was in seventh grade, when I, encouraged by a friend, began to roleplay. The 'what ifs' of the stories I read began to make me think. When I entered high school, those questions evolved into asking the 'what ifs' of the world. My next evolution happened, and I started creating entire worlds and new storylines. The ironic thing was that it was sort of frightening, at first. Picture this: you're sitting on your bed at home, reading, listening to music, or basically doing nothing, when you hear a sound. You look up, taking a headphone out of your ear. What you see makes you drop your book, or your iPod. There's a man sitting there; or a girl, a child, a woman, or a thing-that-you-can't-describe. You think, Okay, that's not weird. Whatever. I must be really tired. You lay down, turn out the light, and go to sleep. You wake up the next morning, turn around, and whatever you saw is still there. And whatever you saw is still watching you. You ignore them, thinking they'll go away when -- to your horror, surprise, glee, whatever -- more show up. Apparently, whatever the heck has been watching you has some friends and some enemies. Just be sure that they don't come crashing through the wall. Freakin' Kool-Aid Man. That was me when the writing bug bit me, and when the ideas really started happening. Current Works: Videoman: Alicia was just recording a drama project. She never expected more than that to appear on her camera, but what is she to do when there's a ghost in there, one that seems intent on ruining her every-day life? Finished Works: The Family of Five: Hailey Williams writes an English paper. It was supposed to be a fictious story. Too bad it's the truth. Suggested Reads: Death Child: Anika always thought herself to be odd, what with how she acted and clung to her elder twin. But what happens when you fall through the ice in the dead of winter? You die, right? Wrong. There's more to that, and Anika is about to find out who she truly is. And Death Child's Sequel: The Living Void Vermillion Tears: What do you get when you mix a blond "Regular" teen, and a dark haired, dark eyed not-so-normal? vampire? Earth destruction, that's what. Meet these two characters as they go...on a summer's worth of what normal people do during their summers. -slash- And Vermillion Tears' Sequel: CV And I Feel Fine: (I cannot find it, but I know it's on Fictionpress...somewhere.) Follow the lives of a serial murderer, three kids from a rural town, and a cop as the new HIV virus(HIV-3) becomes airborne and starts to kill off the human race. The above suggested reads are currently unfinished works that I think highly of. The only finished works are Vermillions Tears and The Living Void, but, seeing as they now has a sequel...Well, you get the picture. There are many one-shots that I could put up here, but they would only take up space and more of your time. If you actually read this Bio page, you must have a lot of time. If you want to know the one-shots I love and adore, then e-mail me. | |||||||||
