Author has written 3 stories for Romance.

J . E . Wyatt
first began writing in 2002 and has not had a good night's sleep ever since. As she has no other passion than for writing, she spends half her day locked up in her room, staring at the computer, wondering what to write. Indeed, the characters in her story have more of a life than this writer!

My Poems

The video I made of my movie: TRC

But words are things, and a small drop of ink,
Falling, like dew, upon a thought, produces
That which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think.
- Lord Byron

Writing Updates:
TRC is under major reconstruction.
02.20.08 - I am feeling TRC-nostolgia. I can't seem to move on and write a new story. But I'll try my best. 03.14.08 - Readers, don't be expecting the epilogue of TRC anytime soon. At the moment I am very occupied with revising the piece - I just came to understand what my writer friend meant by: "Writing the story itself is nothing compared to the editing process." Indeed, editing is a pain in the arse. But I'm managing (bearly, it feels like have to read through a 300page essay paper and edit it). I've found major plotholes, eye-rolling cliches and corny scenes/dialogues, and etc. Therefore, I'll repeat again, don't be expecting an epilogue anytime soon. Sorry! But I'll try my best.
03.21.08 - The new plotline I thought of - about the romance between a member of the Catholic congregation (I haven't done the research yet, but a member, maybe I'l make the Hero a priest or something, who is sworn to chastity) falling in love with a woman. It'll be set in the Victorian era, because before then, Catholics weren't very free to practice their religion. I don't know, I just think this a very intriguing plotline. Also, I've always wanted to write something revolving around religion.

In depth Definition of TRC:
The question that has been most often asked is how "Runaway" and "Courtesan" have anything to do with Amanda Hollingworth or the story in general. Well, I've thought much about it and even went so far as to wonder whether I should change the title of my story or not. But then, after reading some of the reader's opinion of what they thought the meaning behind the title was, I realized that the title doidn't need to be thought of literally, but figuratively. So, "Courtesan" literally refers to a prostitute associating with noblemen or with men of wealth. Therefore, a reader might wonder how the word "courtesan" has anything to do with Amanda, because she is not one, but would be viewed by society as a "cheap whore" a.k.a "a prostitute". So how is she a courtesan? Well, she might feel like a courtesan when with Lucas, because as you see in some chapters, from the way he kisses her, and from his interest in her, Amanda and Lucas might at times be viewed as lovers. So of course, receiving the attention of a titled man won't make her feel like a "cheap whore" nor as a "wife" because she knows he wouldn't ever love her enough to marry her, or offer her more than a woman like her could ever deserve. And so she is left with feeling like a courtesan of the highest order...he protects her, pays her attention and affection. But nothing more: his attention will always be intent upon her until he bores of her, which is when he would move on to the next woman. As for the word "Runaway" Amanda didn't actually runaway from the brothel, but was rescued. So then, a reader would think that the word "runaway" had nothing to do with her. But then, think of it, she's always running away...from her own emotions for Lucas, because she believes that all men are brutes and that he'd only end up hurting her. So voila, here is the meaning behind TRC. If any reader feels there might be more to add, please feel free to message me.
