My name is Brenna, I live in Idaho, I'm married to a delightfully wonderful Asian guy named Kim (Asians rock! I only wish I were Asian... Sigh.), I love to read and watch movies and play the XBOX, primarily Halo and Halo 2 (I'm not very good when fighting people on the split screen, but on cooperative play I beat those alien's fannies, what?). I have a cat named Aravis (from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Horse and His Boy, by C.S. Lewis) and a baby boy named Yonah who was born April 11th 2007. Oh, and I love dancing, and being silly, and dressing up, and listening to music. I am currently learning acoustic guitar.

I'm always writing, but am too shy to post my stuff normally, and when I do I tend to pull it off, because I get discouraged.

Two months go by... Yonah's about 9 months now, and is working on cutting his second tooth almost immediately after the first one cut on Christmas Eve (lovely Christmas present for me, woohoo!) which makes any spare time to myself something to be treasured immensely. As such... there isn't much of it. I got a good bit of writing done today in the next chapter of Elf School, but I'm feeling exhausted and I think I'm going to try to take a nap for the rest of Yonah's nap. Wish me luck in that. I will have it up either tonight or tomorrow afternoon-ish. Sound good to people?

Motherhood is crazy and busy, but my baby has gotten to the stage at 7 months that he is more independent than before, so I'm glad to be able to write again. Unfortunately, I've been trying all day to get the fourth chapter of Elf School written, but I can't get the feel of the first three chapters back into it - partially because of all the distractions of a 7 month old baby, I'm sure. I will update the story as soon as I am able to get the next chapter into a state of acceptability.
