Summary: If about twelve years ago, the world as we knew it had collapsed... what would it be like for those who'd survived? The world is still familiar but at the same time painfully different and its not so nice anymore either. Walled cities replace national governments, mega-highways are the only means of transportation between them, and the things of nightmares wait in the dark for you to come out. This is a time when death can be more merciful than life on the outside, where love and lots of other things aren't a priority, and where Kat is just trying to find her place and live to tell.

Basically all of my old stuff is on hiatus. I haven't touched in in almost four years and the sad truth is that I probably won't in the near future.

Jack-O-Lantern- short story/complete
ok so this was a little speech I did in my... cough... speech class. We had candles and the lights were out and my teacher even had "spooky" music playing. By the time I was done reading it everyone in my class was looking at me like I was evil incarnate or something; quite honestly I found it amusing as hell.
People are always shocked by the darkness within the human heart!
I just think it’s a really good short story, definitely worth reading!
