Author has written 4 stories for Historical, and Romance.

Holden Caulfield should be kicked in the jaw.

That aside, I assure you I am most fond of most types of literature, though I generally lack the patience to work my way through poetry, or plumb the depths of its deeper meaning. I enjoy historical fiction the most, particularly stories set in the Tudor, Georgian, Regency, and WW eras. I consider myself fairly well-versed in these time periods, and I've been known to work myself in to a lather over the miniscule historical innaccuracies that inevitably pop up in writing. So if you find one, you shoot it down and kill it dead, kapeesh? I do, however, allow for the liberal application of artistic license when it comes to mashing together events in order to make a story flow better. But blatant impropriety in the drawing room? A modern name on an Aurthurian heroine? Never!

I'm a film student, Canadian, and old enough to do everything legally. But seriously. I like to pretend I'm smarter than I actually am, have no problem pointing out my flaws to myself (it's still tough to hear them from others), I love going out dancing, Earl Grey tea, dogs (the bigger the better), and frittering away my meagre income on movie tickets and gin & tonics. I'm a real hoot. If you have questions of my writing, or just want to chat, please, feel free to e-mail me. I'm very sociable.

The Alien Office
In Progress

Madeline Snowley is a mild-mannered, well brought-up young lady. Her sister Lucy, is not. When an unfortunate case of mistaken identity results in Madeline being engaged to her sister's beau, Lord Geoffrey Bramwell, it seems that everything's gone to hell in a handbasket. And when Geoff disappears to France with a very poor excuse, Madeline takes a leaf out of Lucy's book, and goes after him, intending to give him a piece of her mind. What awaits her in France is far more complicated than she ever could have imagined: Spies? Secret documents? Whispers of rebellion? And on top of all that, a moody, sarcastic, completely desirable fiance who wants nothing to do with her.
Set during the Napoleonic Wars.

She Lights Matches

A one-shot about how a crush makes us completely inept. Somewhat auto-biographical. Oh, to be fifteen again...
