Author has written 4 stories for Romance, and General.

You will write if you will write without thinking of the result
in terms of a result,
but think of the writing in terms of discovery,
which is to say that creation must take place
between the pen and the paper,
not before in a thought or afterwards in a recasting...
It will come if it is there and if you will let it come.

- Gertrude Stein

Jaclyn the writer likes to watch soap operas by day and write romance by night. She is a dreamer. Jaclyn the person is sometimes cynical about love. She is a realist. Jaclyn is two different perspectives (depending on her mood), but the same person. She is a walking contradiction.

4/20/08: Nearly two months later, the FINAL CHAPTER of Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell is finally up! I know it has been a long time in the making, but I truly feel like this is the right ending. It took my two years to finish this story, and now it's over! = Now I'll be focusing on Accidentally in Love. Thanks for reading!

2/26/08: After two months, the next (and second to last) chapter of SBHH is up! I'm actually not sure how I feel about it yet.

12/27/07: Well, I posted a one-shot (if that's what you would call it) and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. I wrote it mostly for myself on a whim, so I don't quite expect people to read and relate or even like it.

12/20/07: Next chapter of SBHH up. I'm actually hoping to wrap up the story by the end of my winter break (of which I have two and a half weeks left) and it is quite a reach, I know, but if I can't finish then I'd like to get most of the remaining chapters up so I can focus on Accidentally in Love. I had a set ending for SBHH, but I've been entertaining another one which (I think) is slightly more interesting.

Pending Projects: I've messed around with this idea for months now. It sounds a little like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (which is my favorite romantic comedy!), but I like to think it's a little different. It's called How to Fall in Love, and here's the summary: Sometimes love is a leap of faith. Sometimes love happens by chance. And sometimes love is the result of…an online blog? Imagine a world where you date an innocent guy for all the wrong reasons and more people read about that experience than the disaster across the country that killed millions. How do you fall in love with the whole country reading about your every move? This one will definitely be up sometime in the near future, but I won't post it until I write ALL of it. I've already got the first two chapters done. Not sure when this one will be up; I'm not even sure I want to finish it.

Another project: I always do stories about the girl getting the guy, but not vice versa. This time, I'm going to write a story from the perspective of five guys and naturally they're popular, rich, good looking, flirts, etc. But they're frustrated that no one takes them seriously -- not their parents, teachers, friends, and especially not the girls they actually like.

Stories I Love (in no particular order): Against All Odds by Myrika, We Can Work it Out by a case of me, Swish by lovelyhead, Plans and Distractions by smudged lines, All in the Life of a Tomboy by brown bread, The Tutoring Contract by pinkshades, The Champagne Gang by punkturnedwriter, Counting Chickens by pixy-dizzy, All Along by KNE, The Red Carpet by You Are So Last Summer, Close Encounters, Inc. and Everything to Lose by fazzingaway. READ THEM because they are seriously well-written, funny, make-your-heart-race romantic, and just all-around amazing. You can find them (and other good stories) in my favorites.

COMPLETE! First impressions are rarely right. But one of them is slightly prejudiced and the other’s got way too much pride. It was definitely hate at first sight until love got in the way. Sort of modernP&P
