Not to be enslaved anymore.

In her mind, she promises "Nevermore."

-- excerpt from "Freeing the Nevermore"

Poem by: J.L. McCoy

A little information about me is that I am a 22 year old female. Some believe I am older, some younger. I am a college student working on a Bachelor's of Art in Journalis with a double concentration in French and Creative Writing.

I am an avid reader of fantasy romance and historical romance. You won't see a lot of that come out in my stories, because I am not a good one for writing love scenes. So please forgive me if my stories lack that.

I have lurked around fictionpress for nearly two years now and have found quite a few good reads that makes me green with jealousy and makes me challenge myself to write to the quality I have read on this site.

Currently, I am working on a fantasy piece called Mysteries of the Illunae that I hope will someday be posted here once the grammar nazi inside of me goes to sleep.

In the Works

Mysteries of the Illunae:

Travel with Satheria as she discovers herself and who she really is.

The Illunae were once a poweful race of water wielders who worshipped the creator of their life, the Father and Mother Moon. One night they were destroyed, sending only one down the river, the last Queen who never reclaimed her throne until a great war rages that makes the blood in her veins course with the memories and fights of her forefathers.
