For divorcin' - or not divorcin' - our mothers? And shall we forgive them for their excesses of warmth or coldness? Shall we forgive them for pushin' - or leanin'? For shuttin' doors, for speakin' through walls - or never speakin'? Or never bein' silent? Do we forgive our fathers in our age, or in theirs? Or in their deaths, saying it to them, or not saying it? If we forgive our fathers, what is left? Smoke Signals - 1998. My name is Mary Baker. I'm twenty-three years old,a nd the proud mother of two little angels. Annelina is two and a half, and she's got a temper. She loves her dolls, baby brother, father Adrian and all dogs and cats. She loves climbing, running, playing games such as tag and chase, and dragging my old poof about the house. Her baby brother Trystan is ten months old, and he's two and a half feet long. He wears her clothes, at least the neutral ones. He loves to crawl, race about in his race car walker, munch on a few foam puzzle pieces and teething rings, say Dadda, pull himself upright and play with his toys. Did I mention he loves playing in his crib, and would much rather be there than in the livingroom? Last but not least, he loves getting into mischief such as helping his sister chase and corner our cat Tim Finnagin.
