I'm not very good at writing poetry.
My poems aren't necessarily about me or my life (though some of them are). They are quite often inspired by books, movies and such, always with my own twists. Though most often then I just invent the whole theme by myself.
I'm a 16-year-old girl from northern Europe.
I love music. Most of all, I love metal, especially black metal. Another genres that I truly enjoy are martial industrial, dark ambient and goth rock.Of course I listen to a lot of other genres of music too. Medieval, EBM and j-rock, to name a few. My favorite bands are currently Emperor, Xasthur, Sorcier des Glaces, Demonic, Dargaard, Mechanical Poet, Puissance, Emilie Simon, One Master, The Crüxshadows, Unfinished Thought, Trobar de Morte, Bal-Sagoth, Dimmu Borgir, Assemblage 23, Desiderii Marginis, Sirius, Morgion, Clan of Xymox, Nostalgia, Burzum, Dolorian, Free Dominguez, Spektr, Lake of Tears, Blind Guardian, Evanescence, Wasara, Malice Mizer...ah, there are so many.
In music, the most important thing to me is the atmosphere it creates. Oh, and big, bombastic, orchestration is always a plus! (Hey, I did list Dimmu Borgir and Bal-Sagoth up there, didn't I?)
I sometimes make music myself but it pretty much sucks. At the moment I'm obsessed with Xasthur. It's ethereal, raw, bleak, dissonant, hopeless, eerie, desolate, yet incredibly beautiful depressive black metal. I highly recommend!
I love fantasy books.
I spend most of my time in my own world of thoughts, ideas, dreams; possibilities and impossibilities...
I'm not very social. And I'm very secretive. Not even my parents truly know me.
I like learning. At school there's a straight correlation in between what subjects interest me and my grades. But I like studying alone, independently, much more than studying at school.
I'm a big time procrastinator.
I am quite depressed most of the time. Rather due to me driving myself insane than due to the outside world. My life is pretty good, one would say.
I am my own worst critic.I am certain no one even views my profile.
