The Shadow Fox, Geno Breaker, Kenshin, Aoshi Shinomori, Kira, the Strike Gundam, Yusuke, Genkai, the demon of the air with the Irish accent(in Yu-Yu-Hakusho), Grand Admiral Thrawn, Paul Atreides, Allanon, Shannara in general, Lord Windgrace, Bo Levar, Commodore Guff, and The Weekenders are AWESOME! Also: K'Chain Che'Malle, Cotillion and the Bridgeburners.
So, yeah. I like anime, pc games, various tv shows, Magic: the Gathering, and books. Fantasy (Magic, Terry Brooks) and sci-fi (Star Wars, Dune, Battletech/Mechwarrior ) mostly. Recently into The Malazan Book of the Fallen, by Steven Erickson. Think Lord of the Rings, but twice as awesome and 30 times more epic in scale.
So now I'm in my third semester at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, writing when I'm bored in class and whatnot. I actually think I've made more progress on my stories in the past six months than in the past few years. Who'da thunk it, eh? Any way, I intend to rewrite the first chapters of Phoenix and keep working on A Few Minutes Before Midnight. Everything else is done (the poems mostly) or on indefinite hiatus (Alevi).
Update 8/15
Ya, about that... I've redeveloped interest in writing semi-epic fantasy, so I'll probly pick up work on Alevi, with a serious overhaul. Angel of death/vengeance possessing a certain swordsman, bear cavalry, desert ninjas, possible airships, you know. That kind of thing.
Also a new idea for a sci-fi fic popped into my head tonight, inspired by Stargate and Homeworld, though completely separate from either of them. We'll see what happens.
