Welcome to the writing of: Penelope June .~
FORMERLY KNOWN AS: Dagger Jeniva
It's April of my Sophomore year in high school.
I honestly haven't had the time to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) for creative writing since the first week of ninth grade.
I've changed a lot, probably for the worse, but I'm doing my best to change back into who I want to be.
I am currently in the middle of writing "ASPARAGUS: The Meaning of Life."
I will revisit "The Falcon and the Dagger" and probably remove and insert new chapters. It will be less confusing. I hope to convey the same message, though. When revising "The Gun Slinger", Stephen King wrote about how he wanted to keep the ideals his nineteen-year-old self had instead of conveying his current standings. I hope to illuminate that, even though my knowledge of human nature, although not complete, has definitely expanded.
"Chasing Lies" and "Eyes of Blood" may never be finished; however, I hope to revisit them later.
So, read, review, and enjoy! Writing's something to be celebrated!
And always keep in mind that no one puts pen to paper without a purpose.
Now it is May of my Sophomore year in high shcool.
I wrote my first poem in over a year yesterday. It felt so good.
This summer I hope to write more frequently so I can continue editing "The Falcon and the Dagger" and write "ASPARAGUS: The Meaning of Life."
Btw, a new first chapter has been added in for "The Falcon and the Dagger"! :D R&R!
The rest needs a LOT of work!
