Author has written 4 stories for General, and Humor.

"A good novel tells us the truth about it's hero; but a bad novel tells us the truth about its author." - G. K. Chesterton

I think that's my author's credo- I have no tolerance for Mary/Gary Stu's. Unless it's first person perspective, or a memoir/autobiography, then I don't want to hear the author's own opinions in their "witty, attractive, protagonist who's SO over their ex, 'cause he's a jerk who has a tiny dick." Even though it's more rampant in fanfiction, it has a healthy stock in regular, published and nonpublished, fiction. Ugh.

I'm a non-serious writer. I say this because although I like to write, and I write whenever possible, I don't plan on making it a career. I prefer being an editor. That being said, I have way too many plot-bunnies running rampant in my wool-gathering device to NOT write. But just because I'm not a serious writer doesn't mean I don't like feedback on my stories- who doesn't like reviews? ;D

Stories in the Works:

The Kay Story- A series of oneshots that explore the cliches that run rampant in everything in homosexual/gay/yaoi/shonen-ai/mm fiction. Goes from "best friends fall in love" to vampires to the just plain strange. Revolves around the same two characters, in different situations (each story is stand-alone). Is named for a good friend who adores slash and ends up writing vampires into everything. :)

Jurassic Fight Club: NaNoWriMo '08. Is under serious revision, and may never see the light of day. Follows the adventures of Trevor Rolle as he is stalked by something, and finds out that his best friend and roommate is a ... porn unicorn? Oh my.

The Spy Who Wanted to Shag Me: Spy cadet codename Austin Potter has it rough. While avoiding the matchmaking of his schoolmate Lin Possible, disabling all of the cameras and surveillance that Johnny British keeps putting up around his house, and bumming around with his pal 0077/James Bondage, he might, MIGHT have time to go on a mission with the mysterious Woodtorch. And find out if there's any pancakes left in the fridge. International spies have never been so disturbing.

Latin 101: It's mostly dead, but it has potential. If I can ever get back into it. cringes But it's an autobiographical account of the horror that is a high school senior in a freshman Latin class.

Update April 2009: Just added "Unbuckled Swash" and "How Jesus Saved My Wedding". I have a lot of love for both of these stories, for completely different reasons.
