Hello,

It's been a while. Not many reading this will know that I used to have a decent reputation on FictionPress as a pretty good romance author. That's because I took down all my old work, effectively removing 700+ reviews for one completed story and a couple hundred from a scattering of other (unfinished) stories. This was a huge blow to my vanity, but it had to be done. My work in the past has been OK, but was nowhere near what it could be with some minor editing - or in a few extreme cases, entire re-writes. For the next year or so I'm going to be working on re-writing and re-posting one story at a time. In some cases the stories will be under the same titles as you may recognize from reading them before. Please be aware that most of my stories, while having similar plots to the old, will now be completely refurbished - which is to say that some will be totally different from what you knew; others will be the same but with better grammar than you may recall. There will be warnings posted here in my profile to let you know whether it's an entire re-write or if I've just gone through to tweak my often horrifying grammar.

Thank you. Those two words say so little, but mean so much. Was it not for you, reading this, reading my stories that lead you to read this, I would not be here (on FP) anymore. For a long time I thought to give up on writing. Then I got a scattering of emails and PMs and Review Alerts on old stories asking where I'd gone or whether I would be continuing with a story someone liked but I hadn't finished. This encouraged me to finish my assosciate's degree in English and come back here to clean up my stories. With hope, I can repay the gift you've given me with your support by finishing the stories you may once have loved, and doing so without as many gaping plot holes as you may have become accustomed to when dealing with me.

--Duncan Kade is a werewolf on a mission: Return home to Scotland and reclaim his birthright as ruler of the Isle of Skye, and redeem his clan's reputation in the process. That is if he can escape from the American school tour group he came with, the fallen angel he's falling for, and the hitchhiking fairy he isn't quite sure actually exists.

-This is a total re-write. If you read the original draft of "Deep Down Demons" back in late 2007 through early 2009 - please be aware that it is almost nothing like the story you knew.

"You Can Be My Bodyguard" - Romance/Hurt/Comfort/Drama/Mild Humor - Chapters 1/15 posted

--Malachi Hawkson is the new kid in school. Helki Eagle is the invisible girl with issues. It takes a broken arm to rebuild some bridges Helki thought she burned down years ago. There's a notorious pattern going on in the background, though: You can't have the good without the bad. You won't know it's love until your heart breaks.

-This is a minor re-write. The original draft was posted back in 2005, removed as late as Spring 2008. Plot is the same and so is some of the dialog, but a lot of description has been removed or moved around. Grammar has been cleaned up. Helki's character has been tweaked. Read to find out more.
