"Living an ECLIPSEd life, with the SOUL of a caged BIRD."
-(yours truly)-
ANNOUNCEMENT: Fictionpress screwed up. They switched my email with another author's, so the other author has been getting any emails you've been sending to my old hotmail account. I've changed my email address and disabled my email from displaying on here. However, to reach me, you may contact me here. Thanks for your time, encouragement, and for being great friends ;) If you ever need someone to talk to, for any reason, I'm at the (new) address in that link. Anytime, any place. Or send me a PM. Thanks!

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT! -- I'm trying to get "You Can Be My Bodyguard" published. Anyone who has this story on their Favs list, I'm working on sending out Private Messages to, but because it takes over a minute for me to send along another PM (you have to wait at least 1 minute in between) and it takes me so long to write individual responses (I'm slow, you should all know that by now), I'm posting names here mainly so I can remember them, but also because I wanted to give a public shout-out to all the wonderful and supportive people who have motivated me to actually make something of my little stories. Thanks so much!! For anyone else reading this, most of the names listed below write fabulous stories and or poems themselves. I strongly suggest you read and review every single one and motivate them just as you've motivated me! Once again, I can't begin to thank all of you enough for what you've done for my confidence!

P.S. In case I failed to mention this in the rambling note above, "You Can Be My Bodyguard" is going to be taken down until I've either been rejected from every Literary Agent whom I've applied to so far, or I get permission from whoever I need permission from to re-post it. For anyone who wants to know when it's published, or if they'd like me to send along a complimentary copy, email me at the NEW address in the link in the previous ANNOUNCEMENT. If that doesn't work, send me a PM.
All my love, hugs, and kisses, and tsunamis of gratitude. Thanks!

On Writing: My stories are predictable, but they are my own. I don't write for a release; I just write. I keep a running commentary going on in my head about what people around me are doing. Some friends and I made up this game (you probably play it too) where we pick out a couple at the mall or the park or walking along the sidewalk, wherever, and we make up stories about them. We call the game "Narrator." A few of my stories feature such friends (i.e. Malakai, Skylar, Elizabeth (Liz)). Most of my stories include situations that really happened, but I took myself out and put my characters in, and I asked myself the question "What would someone else have done? Reacted? How would it have affected their future?" Or some time I may wake up from a dream and jot that down, insert that event somewhere. There's a lot of symbolism, because I like symbolism; some of which I'm not even aware of until lovely reviewers (my dear, lovely reviewers ;) point it out to me. All of my settings in all my stories are pretty much bits of pieces of places I've been or lived, all mixed up and smashed together, to form the cities of Array and New Donnelly (Age of Ice: rewritten, Cold Fusion: the younger years, Let's Just Pretend) , Dorjan in Georgia (Assassinating A Teenage Drama King), the suburb where Accidentally In Love: misunderstood takes place in (forgot the name of the suburb, lol), the rural towns of Hampton (You Can Be My Bodyguard, All Fall Down) and Teal Creek (Wrong Crowd).
On My Life: I've got a military background. Grandpa, Uncle, Daddy, sister, and me. Then there's my Scotland-bred mother dear (culinary artist extroidinaire) and granola sister who's threatened to chain herself to me if the government tries sending me overseas. Granola Sister just had a baby in November, so I also have a beautiful baby granola niece :) They all live in or around Arkansas at the moment (well Grandpa lives in Georgia and Uncle in Colorado), and I live/attend college in South Carolina, living with a roommate who (also) just had a baby. But we move around a lot. Daddy is about to be deployed to Saudi Arabia, and in August I'm headed to train in an undisclosed area overseas (so I'll try to finish all my stories before then that are NOT on indefinite hiatus). Mom, granola sister and niece, are headed to Scotland to stay with family while he's away. Miltary sister lives is stationed in Hawai'i. So maybe when I come back from active duty, I'll have some international fictional towns to write about :)
On Reviewing: I'll review you if you PM or email me and ask. Don't leave it in a review. I see reviewing as a place where readers/writers may critique authors to better their writing -- What do you find interesting about the plot? Can you relate to the characters? Where do I need work? -- not as places for advertising. I try to review everything I read, but sometimes I get distracted (I'm very easily distracted, lol), so I'll forget, and I mean to come back to finish reading and leave a review, but I forget to do that too. So if I left one review but haven't shown up in a while in later chapters (and if you miss me) then please let me know. I have a good memory for remembering general plot and characters that stand out, but sometimes I'll forget the title or who wrote a particular story and simply can't find it again.
On Beta'ing: Read my Beta Profile for more info.
