WRITING:
I habitually bite off more than I can chew. I want to do impressive things, but I want to do them now. So I post immediately and write chapters in numerical order—bad me, bad. What can I say? That's my flaw. At least I know what it is. So to fix it, I'm going through this fiction writing class right now (consider it...therapy for my inner writer) where I'm learning to break bad habits, develop a good creative process, and improve myself overall. We'll see what happens. I am doing good work in the class, or so says my prof, so I must be doing some things right.
In tandem with this, I'm doing an experimental vow right now, where I won't post anything unless at least a rough draft of the whole thing is done first. Even mega-multiple chapter stuff...like The Oracle of Yet to Be, which I'm still vowing to finish...someday. Grr. So...when I post here again, you can be guaranteed that everything I start will finish in a timely manner. There's just going to be big breaks between pieces.
