"Tonight, Tonight
On a night like this,
The thunder rolls,
The lightening will clap,
The hail will storm,
The rain is coming,
And as MidNight approaches,
All those not in bed,
Will be eaten by Roaches."
~MidNight Roaches (silly, but amusing and written by yours truly)
Though I like to write stories, I have the tendency to throw grammar and punctuation out the window when I find it's beginning to throw me off balance. Hence the reason just about everything I do write will be written in a broken prose or a very interesting style of poetry. So I ask, that you don't bother trying to correct my many mistakes, the first thing I ever noticed about writing was how much fun it was to put different words together, and how much fun it is to read them. Therefore, grammar and punctuation were probably and may never by my first priority.
(And as bad as that sounds, it's the truth. I like to write, I like to read, but heaven forbid I give a damn about the rules of witting. If I write a story, I assure I will find my self an editor, and fix any mistakes any of you may find. However, "You misspelled misspell, in the second sentence of paragraph three." Is not a comment or a very good example of constructive criticism. Heaven forbid a human being make a mistake or a typo. Honestly, use a little bit of that imagination and give me a real comment, such as "The flow from line three to five is interrupted by the repetition of the world "beat", and "rhythm" is a much better substitute. By the way you misspelled "misspell" in line four," is a better comment and a very good example of constructive criticism.)
