Author has written 2 stories for General, and Romance.

September 2006.

Yeah, I'm horrible. I haven't updated in over a year. I've been working on it (and several other stories) but I get very little time and I get easily distracted. I'm planning on taking down Shabnam, editing the first chapter completely and turning it into a prologue, and adding a second chapter. When will this happen? I have no idea. However, since there aren't reviews/e-mails bugging me about it, I'm assuming no one is really hooked onto the story. Which, for me right now, is good. I will update when I get the time, it's just hard with the gazillion pounds of homework we're constantly assigned.

Name: Nalini

Age: N.A. (I want to be judged solely on how I write and not my age).

Physical Description: Olive skin, dark brown-black hair (layered and past shoulder), dark eyes, average height and weight.

Location: In front of the computer in the outskirts of D.C, U.S.A.

I was born into a proud (but not completely traditional) Indian family whom I love and adore.

I'm a complete Hindi movie junkie, but I enjoy Hollywood movies as well.

I really enjoy learning and I'm really happy about this. Although science may not be my favorite subject, give me anything to do with English, History (I love European History especially), languages, or math, I'm good! I mean, I don't do homework for fun or anything, but I'm glad I don't have an aversion towards everything in school.

I went through a phase where I was completely obsessed with anything related to Harry Potter. When I say obsession, I mean fanfics, posters, calendars, relating everything in life to Harry Potter, RPGs, quoting from the books, the whole shebang. I still very much enjoy reading the books.

A book I've read over 25 times, literally: Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine.

Wow, you're still reading? I salute your patience!

George Weasley, Fred Weasley: Did not!

My stories:

Shabnam: Ch.1 up. Inspired by some dreams, a couple Indian movies, my love for India, and, of course, my unforgettable muse. A huge thank you to Faz for being such a helpful beta! Pronounciation key: Shabnam Shub-numb Like shrub without the "r" and numb as in unfeeling with a silent "b". Shabnam is a beautiful Indian name which I wish was mine. It means morning dew.

Poem:

The Epitome of Perfection: Short and quick, written in the spur of the moment and inspired by the definition of the "grace." Give it a read, it's worth it!

If you want to e-mail me, don't hesitate. I would love to answer any of your questions or just chat. And if you want me to read and review your story, all you have to do is ask!
