I wanted to make another girl-falls-for-brother’s-friend-story because when I re-read Wendy, I’m really displeased with it so Between yours and mine is the same sort of story but different. I’m sure some things will be recognised from Wendy but it is a different story. I like Evelyn more than Wendy, she is much more self-confident and independent and at the same time very unsure of herself. Wendy never had much character.

I am also older now. I was just about to turn sixteen when I started writing Wendy and I’m nineteen now so, not to sound weird, but I have gone through things that I hadn’t when I wrote Wendy. Hopefully, my lanugage has improved as well.
