Notes
Fight
This poem appears to be portraying God as an evil being. I truly did not mean for an impression which in anyway showed that. My main point wasto go back to God having the same emotions as a human being. For instance, a young child gets angry if another child breaks his/her toys. Imagine the world being God's toy. After all, many people say that God shaped humans in his own image. I feel that this could be completely true in an emotional sense.
Sunlight Dances
This short story has been revised, hopefully making it easier to follow.
Mudlarking
Although "mudlarking" was a job which was strictly in early times, I have been required to write in the way of a present day writer. I was not to write grammatically, etc. as you would in the 1600's. Also, the use of London General Hospital was against my own good judgement, but in the time given there was no time to research at all. The piece's purpose was to exhibit good writing ability, certainly not to demonstrate understanding any types of research materials, etc.
Safety
Previously known as "Running". Poem has been revised.
Terms
Terms is an on-going series of vignettes. They are all stand alone pieces and none of them relate to each other. The only similarity is the format which is a dictionary definition and then a real life "story" about it.
Sweet Tragedies
Please, no flames on the content of this poem. The issue is currently debate-able, and this does not completely develop my views on the problems of immigration to the US. It is, instead, a re-write of Emma Lazarus' poem which is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty. The assignment was complete change of the hopeful ideas written in that particular work.
Dates
As a younger indiviual, I've realized that as the years pass my writing skills develop, usually for the better. I am now listing each piece and the time when it was probably written. This will be in a time line form, ending with the most recent. This will help, for two pieces may have been written in 2005, however one may have been written in January and the other in December. I'm sorry to admit that there is great chance of mistake, however I've done my best.
