Hello....

I'm a Creative Writing Major. I take courses that I've never taken before and like to write stories I have no experience in. So for the most part on this website I'll be posting things that I've never attempted writing before. Usually it will be something I want or have turned in for a grade in one of my courses and would just like to get some more input on.

Nasal Napalm: It's an essay on the inner workings and mechanics of my nasal septum as I see it. This piece I wrote for a Creative Nonfiction Writing Workshop. I had no idea what the genre entailed so I just went with what I thought would be something good enough to get feedback on to tell me what I needed and what I didn't need in order to better write for the genre. In short I intended for it to be a sample for my Prof so she could tell me if I did it right or not.It's a little odd because I'm a little odd, plus I didn't want to immediately fall into the pit most of my classmates did with drama and deep personal information. (one my classmates got one of her more personal stories eaten up and she cried) My Prof loved my essay though and I was pretty damned proud of it myself.

I used to have another story on here by the name of Haunted, but in my opinion it was poorly written on my part and in need of a deep tissue edit and a makeover. However, I do appreciate the few positive reviews I recieved for it and hopefully some time in the future I'll either repost the rewritten version or something to take its place.
