I came back here and read over my bio and thought, "Wow, what the hell was I thinking when I wrote that?" My name is obviously Justin and I am almost twenty two years old. I think the older I get the more methodical I get with my writing. I have recently started this new thing where I try to write something short and sweet each week, just a little story about my characters and their situations. You can see some of them here. As a writer I started around the age of maybe ten or eleven years old. The first things I wrote were simple, they were mostly fan fiction and I thought that fan fiction was the best thing ever invented.
Some time in high school I started writing things with my own characters and places; with situations I knew and could relate to. I take pride in my research for my stories and I try my best to do right by my characters really. Most of all I try to learn something and I don't discredit other writers because of age or experience. Instead I try to learn from them and gather what I can to use for later. I think that its the only way for a writer to be when they write something. We have to be like a sponge that soaks up the good part of what we read. Most of my stories are rewrites of rewrites and I have worked hard to try and iron out the kinks and make the plot fit with the people. So from time to time I might post an older version of a story, it will be drastically different though from the one that follows normally.
As a person I'm not sure that I am all that interesting. I like video games, but usually only the ones with good stories. Things like Final Fantasy, Metal gear and Resident Evil. I like to read some, Fight Club is one of my favorite books. I remember it being the first book that really had my heart pumping, I couldn't stop reading it. As far as televison goes, for current shows I watch Supernatural and Scrubs. But in the past I loved X-Files, Angel, Simpsons and some other shows. My favorite bands are Blink-182, The Fray, Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, Likin Park, Taking Back Sunday and there are plenty of others. I guess that's really all there is to know about me.
