Author has written 7 stories for Religion, Life, Family, War, and Historical. Hi everybody! Peace to you! My name is Ali, and I am from Pennsylvania U.S.A. I have chin length blonde hair and brown eyes, and am 17 years old. I enjoy writing, especially poetry, and my subject matter often, but not always, relates to my religious practice and beliefs following the Way of the Buddha. I also enjoy traveling to other countries, meeting new people, and learning foreign languages. (I currently speak English, Spanish, and German, with a limited knowledge of Japanese, and I have started studying French this year in school.) In my free time I talk on the phone, shop, act, draw, and meditate. I am a vegetarian. My favorite TV show is the Simpsons, though I really do not watch TV that often, and I think my favorite movie is either one of the Lord of the Rings films, Chicago, or one of the Shrek movies. I do not read as often as I should, but when I do I like to focus on religious nonfiction, though I do enjoy fiction such as Harry Potter, LOTR, and The Joy Luck Club. As far as my personality, I believe I am a very open person, and I strive to help all living beings with my actions and, hopefully, my writings. I write to advocate love, respect, and Truth for all trapped in this world of suffering, and am opposed to any situation in which one focuses on himself and responds in violence, anger, hate, or even ignorance, to those around him. May all beings be well, May all beings be happy, May all beings be free from suffering. Om Mani Padme Hum. Metta! Ali | |||||
