Hail and well met. I thank you for taking the time to read that which I have written. It is a work in progress and has been so for a while now. I do ask that if you do take the time to read what I have posted to please leave some feedback so I know that people actually do care to read my works.
I don't update as often as I would like as I have many outside activities I do, such as fencing, a job, Civil Air Patrol, and a very lovely girlfriend. Please be patient with me if it seems like it takes me forever to post a new chapter, as I need to find the time to both create the next scene and to then write it as well.
To all the people I've left feedback for, I do tend to leave a note for every chapter. It's a habit I got into in a Creative Writing class in High School. I've found that most writers like to hear what people think about their writings, so I leave as many notes as I can.
I am also a firm believer that there really are heroes out there in the world, whether they may be real people or not. I grew up with the stories of King Arthur, Prince Valiant, Indiana Jones, Luke Skywalker, Ivanhoe, Jean Valjean, The Princess Bride, The Lord of the Rings and the lore of the Paladin. In High School one of my teachers introduced me to a book called "Hero With a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell which explained that heroes aren't just part of literature, but they are part of the basic human essenses. With that said, I believe that the hero is in all of us somewhere, wanting to be discovered, even if it is in our own imagination. Hopefully that will give you some perspective on my writing, as it is based around the idea of a hero, both of Legendary varieties, and the ones we don't expect.

A few shout outs for my fond and devoted readers:
Misanthropic Muse: The editor I never wanted... Just kidding, you've been a major help since I sometimes write so fast that I miss grammatical errors. On top of that you are great writer with a unique mind and clever developer of characters. Keep up the good work Mellon Nin.
Frankie Lady of Soup: A master of wit and odd couplings, and the more mischievous side of 'Trouble'. Her shared work, Wizard's Return, incorporates real world references, wry humor, and just a wee bit of attitude (Except Marlo, who has a whole mess of attitude).
StarRise:A great writer who has a story about a young Elven slave who becomes a Gladiator, then a bodyguard for a loving family, then personal guard for a spoiled princess. Her characters are very realistic and have a very deep and thought out personalities and souls.
Tk.T: Your style is truly your own, mixing philosophy, religion, love, coming of age, and the evil found in everyone's heart. War in the Skies of Paradise includes many issues people will not touch because it makes them question that which they have been taught to fear their whole life. Btw, No worries about Osiris's name, it's an obscure reference. Also, much against my girlfriend's request, the most that you'll see is the male and female leads in Within the Legend of a Hero do is kiss. I'm more intested in the emotions between them, and not the 'other' things.
Meg R. Miller: Star of the Forsaken was a joy to read, and I was honored that you shared it with us here. If you ever plan to continue the story, please share it with us.
Raziel10: Who has written Shadow of Winter, a dark and incredible story about a Dreamweaver and her struggle against forces trying to destroy her world. With an intricate plot, character development, and incredible suspense I seriously believe you are a far better writer than I could ever be, keep it up.
Uncle-Al2: Thanks for all the support. It really does keep me going, though I am sorry that my updates are far between, I'll try and write faster, ;-)
Thanks Everyone!
Honor and Valor
