About the Author

AJ Seawiel was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Always the overachiever, she did well in high school, and she showed a real flair for English; she received a highly proficient award for her efforts and academic excellence in English at the end of her senior year. Seawiel began writing fiction at the young, impressionable age of eleven after often finding herself lost in the wizarding world of JK Rowling's creation, or in one of her own. Unfortunately, she quickly realised -- soon after posting a few incomplete fanfictions -- that writing wasn't as simple as Rowling, Colfer, and Austen made it out to be. In fact, when she looks back on her juvenile works, Seawiel often cringes, itching to burn her earliest attempts at what she once referred to as 'great fiction.' Thankfully, her writing has improved over the years since she first began writing, and her prowess of literature continues to grow. In the near future, Seawiel hopes to complete her first novel -- one she has been planning for many months now -- and have it published. She owes a enormous amount of gratitude to a selection of her friends and family (MM, KH, JT, LS, & LL) who have supported her since the beginning, continue to support her, and allow her to 'bounce' ideas off their heads; Seawiel also apologises for any headaches her rants, questions, theories, facts, and hours and hours of endless chatter about choice characters may have ensued.

Firstly, let me thank you personally for visiting my bio page -- I know it is not the most thrilling of all pages -- but it means a lot that you might actually read this, and consider reading one of my pieces. Secondly, all that I have posted below are from grade school assignments. In other words, they are not a good representation of my writing at present. As my original works continue to surface from the deep, dark depths of my mind, I might post something more recent; however, as it stands, I have nothing to present to you. If you are really, VERY serious about wanting to read something of mine, might I suggest a trip over to my story, By Your Side? It is a Vampire Knight fanfiction, last updated as of March 2009. It is the most recent work I have posted on the internet. Also, if you want to know more about me, a less formal introduction takes place in my profile on fanfiction(dot)net.
