Name: *courtney* Age: I will be turning 17 on July 16 As a sophomore in highschool living in Indiana, I don't have very much going on in my life. Writing is safely the only passion I have that I actually work with, and I have been writing since I was a child. It's easily the most pure and intense form of self-expression for me. It allows me to know myself better, and sometimes learn to understand and accept the world and people around me better. To describe me can be very difficult, but I suppose I could give it a try. I'm intense and passionate, eloquent, dramatic (sometimes a bit too dramatic), compassionate, and humorous. I like all sorts of humor whether it's perverse or dark. I can be mature at times, when I need or want to be, but I also know how to have a fun time. In group situations I can get a little out of hand, but that's just part of my outgoing side. I'm ususally either extremely outgoing, or extremely shy, depending on the situation. Sometimes I trust others way too easily, but I'm slowly learning. I'm more of a dreamer than a realist, and a definite hopeless romantic. My bad qualities would probably be that sometimes I get a little too out of hand, I have a lot of insecurities, and I have problems with commitment. My other passion would have to be music. While I don't play any instrument myself, I love listening to it. My absolute favorite band is AFI. Their lyrics are amazing. My other favorite bands: Alkaline Trio, Son of Sam, Avenged Sevenfold, the Misfits, Sisters of Mercy, The Clash, Tiger Army, HIM, The Mars Volta, Depeche Mode, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Danzig, and many more.
