Greetings to you from the desk of Professor Doctor!

My actual life:
Name: Ariana
Nicknames: Roger, Humma, Angelina, Sanzo, Sweeney
Age: 20
Eyes/Hair: Brown/blonde
Height: 5'7''
Occupation: Student/receptionist/writer/costume designer/music and history enthusiast

Random about me: I am a sophomore in college where I am majoring in history and minoring in music. I'm thinking of double majoring with Psychology or Spanish. Depending on what I really want to do in life. If I major in Spanish, however, I can work as a translator while I put myself through graduate school. Though I did have this odd dream of working as an assoicate professor while I'm getting my master's degree. I am currently in the process of WRITING A NOVEL! which is going to take me forever to finish. (Three cheers for procrastination!)

Pure randomness:
"No
Dogs
Eating
Bicycles"
From an actual sign somewhere

"Field trip to Heaven." - misread from a church sign!

"Chocolate covered SHUT UP or I'm going to call the chocolate covered cops!" -'Billy'

Famous last words: "Don't worry. I'm a professional."

IN PROGRESS/COMING SOON STORIES:
Band the Story (Sort of)
: An unfinished conglomeration of what band is/was. I have the entire up on fanfiction.net, and it may eventually make its way here. Or I'll take it down. I'm not sure yet.

Fake Butterflies in a Christmas Snow: One of those touching family stories about a girl in high-school's Christmas with her family, who have all traveled home for the holidays. Includes a pregnant and unmarried sister, her stupid fiancee, a brother who brought home his friend (who is intersted in his sister) for Christmas, instead of whichever girl he is dating (though he promises she will show up before dinner) and lot of dysfunctional family fun. This may actually be completed sometime this year. :)

Sweet Revenge: The year is 1910, the setting London. Jolene Tavish recieves a telegram that someone she knows is dead and that there is a 3,000 price on the head of a horrible man connected to her past. She goes to London to stop the assasination and get her revenge, but she gets more than she bargained for. This may also be finished sometime soon.

COMPLETE STORIES:
Asher:
The story of The Detwhiler family, a golden boy son, an estranged daugher and a daugher who blames herself for her mother's poor health, coming together to be with their mother in the hospital. Randomness, drama, funny moments. An old story that is an early example of my writing, but not a good example of what I'm doing now.

Gardens of the Vail: As complete as it is going to ever be. No, I did not write this "charming" bit of literature. That honor is held by my friend's younger sister. Read at your own perril. (COMPLETE)

Memoirs of a Has-Been Artist: Danielle, a former artist reflects on her journey through life...how she got to where she was and her love for her critic/agent Alexander. Personally, I think that it's pretty good, but that could just be me.

One Song: Songfic to the song One Song Glory from Rent, though with my own characters. A young man struggles to write a song to be remembred by as he contemplates his life and his coming death. Suicide and depressing songs.

That Kind of Friends: An old memoir for an English class. I think that its well written, but ironically enough, I realized that the person it was written about was just an asshole.

The Dog's View: Thoughts of a dog as it is being put to sleep. Inspired by the fact that my parents had one of their dogs put down.

The Greatest Thing: This is a title inspried by Moulin Rouge. One of my favorite teachers helped me write it. A memoir from my senior year of highschool when gasp I found myself rewriting my ENTIRE portfolio. This is sort of like the other one, only its written about someone else.

This I Believe: A very sort essay that my favorit eteacher (from the above) forced me to write for his class. Not that great, but its there.

COMPLETED POETRY:
Band the Poem:
Yes, yes. Just what it says. A poem about band.

Forever Lost: A girl. An evil entity. What else could you want?

I Wish: Someone reflects on their relationship ending.

Lessons of Life: Some things about life that we should all learn sooner rather than later.

Love?: A young man's thoughts (gathered from what he rambled to me) about his nonexistant love life as he contemplates suicide. (Written because of someone I knew in highschool...not even someone I was especially good friends with.)

Things I Know I've Seen: A humerous sort of song-poem based on a song that Jimmy was singing in a episode of Yes Dear. Though this has to do with my life. I live a very odd life... Sort of a fail when it comes to poetry, but I was around 15 when I wrote it, I believe.

To My Friend: This I literally wrote while sitting on my friend's couch listening to her argue about some aspect of a relationship. Techincally, its about me realizing that her life was far from perfect...and while everyone else realized it, she should have too.

Whatever This Is: Oddly enough, I'm not sure. Its poetry in a stream of consciounce style, but it isn't about anyting that ever happend to me. I was actually thinking of using it in a piece of fiction, but I'm not sure how I would incorporate it. Oddly, though, I just had an idea.
