I'm so sorry I havn't written since last summer, but I have a very good explanation. I'm a college student. I have no life. Ever. It's always homework and work.
I love to write and I have an ongoing collection of stories that have been stuck in my brain since freshman year of high school (some earlier than that!) Unfortantly, I haven't ever writen a full story and the closest I have gotten was with OUaT. As some of my readers may have noticed the only time I'm able to write is during holidays when I'm not in school and I'm only working. Which is maybe three months out of an entire year. My professors are slave drivers I tell you! Whoever said that decorating was easy was lying. So...why am I boring you with all of this usless information? Well, because I have had a holiday and I wrote something. I just havn't posted it...yet.
About Me: I'm white, 5' 4" (and I don't seem to be growing any taller), 19 years old, with dark brown hair, teal blue eyes, and slenderish body (I'm 115 now,I think...)married to my high school sweetheart, and in college to become an interior designer. I work at a french resturaunt and live in Texas. My passions include writing, reading, and drawing. My dream after college is to design personal spaces for people that really work for them and to write young adult(or adult)novels on the side.
My Stories (both written
and unwritten)
Once Upon a Time: (written)
Sometimes I wonder if this story
even has a plot... it's a work in progress. Thus far it revolves around two
main characters, Patience Dempsey and Dan Brogan. Patience is the loner and bitch
of their high school. Dan Brogan is the all around good guy, and the poor
sucker dared to kiss the school bitch. Being a man, he takes the dare and
kisses Patience. That’s when things get complicated. Patience beats the living
daylights out of Dan, hospitalizing him for a week, and all because of a kiss.
Dan couldn’t stand the thought of being beat up by a girl and so hatches an
elaborate plan to get revenge. He was going to win her over by becoming her
prince. With the help of his sisters, and a lot of help from Disney moves and a
list of patience’s favorite fairytale books, Dan would become Patience’s dream.
And when Patience fell for her prince he would tell her, it was all a part of a
dare.
However, Dan doesn’t know one
thing. He didn’t get his butt kicked because he kissed her. No, he got his butt
kicked because she had lost her list and he had it. She would do anything, and
everything, to get that list back, including acting like a love struck
princess. So, who is fooling who?
Diving Deeper: (written)
Eshana withholds a
terrible secret that she can tell no one. The secret being that she was a
mermaid, well…a were-mermaid. The thing is that Eshana had been born a freak. A
freak of the sea and freak of the land. For when it becomes dark she
becomes a mermaid. This is why Eshana has to keep her secret. However, fate has
other plans. Out of the ocean comes a boy, a merboy, the last of his kind. He’s
bent on one thing. Mating. Eshana does everything she can to stay away from
him, but as complications on land force her back to the security of the ocean,
Eshana has to relay on him for help. Soon Eshana finds herself having to make
the choice of a lifetime. What was she really? A mermaid…or a human.
Astronomically Perfect: (unwritten)
Bliss is a teenage girl with an unusual background. Her
parents are retired hippies, yet she attends the strictest catholic school
known to mankind. She was given a strange name, lives in a strange world, and
acts strange. People avoid her, giving her the status of the school outcast.
All accept one person, her best friend Ethan. He knows all about her dreams and
even helps her make them a reality, but when Bliss tells him of her latest
scheme; to find the perfect boyfriend by matching up astrology signs with every
boy in school, he puts his foot down. Bliss however, realizes that there is no
such thing as destiny finding her a love of her own unless she gives destiny a
little push. So she consults the stars trying to find the perfect boyfriend
with or without her best friend’s support. Much to her surprise, and everyone
else’s, she finds her perfect match is the most popular Varsity football
player, who automatically falls for Bliss’s smile. Still not everything turns
out be perfect. When the stars align and Bliss loses her heart she learns the
hard way that not all things can be judged by the stars.
Inner Goddess: My Deity: (unwritten)
The one story of mine that is actually in first person view.
The story follows the life of Kei Seiichi, a Japanese American girl about to
graduate and trying to find her place in the big bad world. She has no plan
after graduation, no college picked out, and no idea what to do next. One
afternoon she gets an e-mail quiz that identifies what goddess you were. It was
an extremely odd quiz, the likes of which Kei had never seen before and it came
from an anonymous source. She was still puzzling over the quiz whenever her
grandfather calls and begs for her to stay with him in Japan for the summer.
Kei agrees and once in Japan is taken by surprise. The odd e-mail turns out to
be a test to decipher if she was a goddess of old: the exact same gods and
goddesses of Japanese legend. The test is being conducted all over the two
nations of America and Japan. Japanese and American teens are slowly being
turned into the reincarnations of past gods and goddesses with the former gods
power. The Japanese government and the American government have teamed up to
capture the teens and use them as national weapons. Now Kei is running for her
life trying to keep her powers a secret, searching for others like her, and a
waging a war within herself to keep her identity as just a regular teenage
girl. Because as time goes on everything about her, her body, her identity, her
appearance, is being changed into the goddess before her. The only way to stop
it is to wage a war within herself, and win.
Recreating magick: (written-but not on fictionpress)
This story was, at one time, on fictionpress, but because of
school and work I deleted it. Recreating Magick is my favorite story and the
most difficult to write. It has to deal with magick, specifically the wiccan
religion, and thus has a lot of research behind it. RM is about the tie between
a rebellious, all around bitch and a ghost that literally can’t keep his hands
off her. Steffen Jones is forced to move from her old home to live in New York,
while being grounded because she was caught cheating, again. She is sent to a
girls disciplinary school while staying in New York as her mother remodels the
current hellhole they live in into a four star hotel. The only problem is that
the hotel is haunted, and the ghost that haunts the hotel is stuck in Steffen’s
room where he could do all kinds of fun things to her because she is the only
one who can see and touch him. Yet, keeping Louis’s hands off her turns out to
not be the only issue in Steffen’s future, apparently she and him are
“destined” for one another.
So, there you have it folks.
Every story that has been stuck in my brain for the past five years. If anyone
has a favorite that they want me to write, or repost, just drop me an e-mail or
a review and I’ll write it. It may take me a long time, but I’ll do it.
I really love it when people
stick by me even though I suck, and I want to thank you for reviewing my
stories. The reviews were awesome and made me a better writer. This time around
I’ll leave the stories up, no matter how much dust they collect. If I haven’t
written for a long time, don’t hesitate to yell at me, the more people yell,
the more I’ll listen. (if that makes any sense) I may be up to my armpits in
homework, but I will at least give you, the reviewers, some type of response.
