This is the first in a series of vignettes (Wonderland Chronicles) that I have planned for characters from In the Flesh.
You'll meet a lot of characters from INF and they all have a back story of how they came to be.
The vignettes will probably be produced faster than a chapter of INF simply because they are also helping develope the characters so that I can have a better grasp of them for INF.

Archer's father has distanced himself from the family and is prone to violent outbursts. However, family problems aren't his only concern when a group of foreigners come to town.
This is the second installment in the Wonderland Chronicles (thanks for the title rizzy :3).

Words have no affect on an empath. Sybil Aine is part of a clan of strong empaths, who are set firmly in ancient traditions. What happens when she decides she doesn't want to be apart of those traditions? All her life she has watched a loveless marriage and refuse to be apart of one. She has many wondrous dreams of a love that warms her inside, allows her to be herself, and to live only for her special person. However, an announcement from her father throws her entire world of out of bounds. Sybil doesn't know what to do, and it gets even worse when some strange guy pops out of nowhere claiming her. What's a girl supposed to do in a world ruled by tradition when all she wants is love and freedom?
If you've read Wax Butterflies you might recognize the characters Sybil and Bastion. Sybil, we met in the beginning of WB, and I don't know about you, but I love her quirky character. In Moondance we discover the truth about Sybil. We know bits from what we've seen in WB and the diary entries, but the story is taken from Sybil's point of view of her life before Liam. It's a little different, because I'm not used to writing in first person point of view, but I hope you enjoy it non-the less.

This is my modern-day Alice in Wonderland story. It's a bit different, because truthfully, there is no Wonderland. It's not a physical place, but a metaphorical one. There are two different types of "worlds" : the ignorant one, where people don't believe in the spooks and bumps in the night, and the real one, where everything you could possible imagine exists.
Alys is going to end up in a bitter battle between two forces she never thought existed. She is, in a metaphorical sense, going to be caught in two different "worlds", all because she followed a white rabbit to a place she shouldn't have gone. Or was she meant to be there all along?

But what happens when his not-so normal life becomes completely abstract? Finding out he's not exactly a normal human, but something far more important and the possiblity of a long lost family might just be more than Dante can take.
